Are writers made or born?

When I was in high school, I envied my seatmate for being a member of our school paper. I used to read her compositions and I had a feeling that I could also create poems and stories, perhaps even better. Does time really comes when you wished you are a writer or there are those who are really born to be writers?

Each person is unique and each has its own talents.
This person will success on his/ her talent if he/she maximize his/ her efforts to sharpen the talents.
So, about your question, I think writers was born. Yes, person who has no talent can learn and create like poems or stories but he/ she will be stuck.
This is the proofs:
You can not choose who is your father your mother. you can not choose whether you are white or black, American Asian or others. You can not choose whether you are pretty or ugly, tall or short, and many thing that you can not choose but only accept it.
cheers :)

People often say that some were born to be writers. They have had the gift of writing since their birth into this world. I believe that writers are made. Writing is something you learn to love. The creation of a writer is made over time. I don't think anyone is born with the talent to write.

Writing is a skill that can be acquired by everybody as long as you have a story to tell and good choice of words. I am not a good writer though this is my way of expressing myself that's why I keep on writing to release all the heartaches and emotions I have. There are times that I am so envious with other writers because of their ability to create eye catching titles and well constructed articles.
