How do you deal with an old friend?

I have an old friend of mine who always stabbed at my back. We have this misunderstanding for quiet a long time yet she keeps on spreading rumors about me, of why we had a misunderstanding? I remain to be quiet but sometimes it really hits my adrenaline. How am I going to deal with this old friend of mine? She is like a hopeless rat in the corner1!. I'm full with her!.

I guess its better if you find time to talk to her in person. Find out what made her so mad about you and ask what is the reason of spreading rumors. It is better to know all from her. If she happens to deny, it is also good that u have kept track of those who have been spreading the rumors that she first spread out. talk to them just to confirm and tell them that you will confront the one who first spread the rumors and you need them as the witness, that the story about you they were keep telling have originated from her and you are about to talk to her for a confrontation. It is also important to talk in a controlled calm way. And settle all things if they can still be settled.

hi thanks for the advice!..i have tried to settle things between us but it ends up into nothing. She did not allowed me to talk during our confrontation. All she needs is I have to understand her. She is the type of person who is not willing to listen. Whenever, I've tried to speak on my side she keeps on bombarding my explanation.
