First of all - I have wifi- and lightening strike the radio out at the road. I didn't have the stupid thing insured and it cost me $218 to have it fixed. Oh poop!!!! Then 6 days later it happened again. This time I had it insured - still feel stupid for not insuring to begin with. Then top it all off - computer finally died. Ended up buying a new one - so it was nearly a $1000 expense week. Makes me wonder if it is all really worth having the stupid computer.

For your pc... I recommend you getting a UPS Battery backup.
It will protect your pc in a power surge.
and would even cover it if you fill out the warranty part.
The fifteen minute ones will do the job.
and when the power goes out, you don't lose anything you might have been working on. and are able to save and shutdown your pc. :-)
For your wifi..
I'm guessing your talking about some kind of wifi repeater tower?
That or you have satellite(a dish)internet with a wifi router?
Anyway, Is it grounded good?

If I didn't use it to earn online, I doubt I'd use the thing very much. They get to be expensive, we bought a whole new computer because of a virus, we luckily got it on Black Friday so it wasn't but $400.00 but we also got paid back for it as we were buying it for hubs parents.
