Hi ddaguno, people who have dissatisfactions against soem groups of people or the superpowers are likely to resort to this act and as a means to take revenge. It may not be due to religion but religion can be used as a strong reason to legitimize the bombing. If they are powerful, I don't think they would show off their power.

Hi ddaguno terrorism is an act of violence carried out by an individual or a group to catch the attention of the common public and also to harm the state as they want to drive home their point of view.Indeed it is hard to fathom whether terrorists are ordinary human beigs or not? There is indeed religious fanaticism associated with terrorism but there are socio and economic conditions too.People who take up arms noirmally do so when they feel that they have been wronged by the state/government.If there were all round growth and prosperity then terrorism could have been sustained considerably. However there are a few fanatic group who persuade people to join their ranks to save their religion but if we can educate the common man properly then these terrorist organisations will evaporate within a short time.Unfortunately we haven't been able to do that.Terrorist lacks true power and that's why they resort to such dastardly acts when they hit soft targets like the common man.

They are groups of people who think they have a cause that will not be solved by peaceful means. They do not have the numbers or armament so they cannot fight armies of countries, thus they use terrorist methods instead. Many times they will hurt innocent people in hopes of causing fear in the citizens of the target country. The terrorist leaders usually recruit those who feel hopeless and/or are illiterate. It is a method of psychological warfare. There is another reason too. It is a form of reverse psychology where the terrorists have a different agenda than it appears. For example, in Israel, the past acts of terrorism against the populace of Israel has resulted in Israel taking measures that makes Israel look bad to the world such as when the nation puts up fences in certain areas, innocent people are killed in raids, and the Israeli army boards ships in search of weapons. In America, if an Arab is searched or not allowed to board a plane, then it is called some sort of profiling and the Arab may indeed be innocent. So the terrorists agenda is to see their "enemy" fall in an indirect way. Either way, they hope their target country will react so that countries will condemn or rise up against the target country.

These are people who have been motivated by the thinkers. There are some people in this world who want thir religion or state to be the top in the world. They fill the young mind with the thoughts of hatred. they train them to do the tings that they want to do. The people who usually work for them are illiterate, who have not seen the world and do not know whats happening around. They believe the words of such people and get into terrorism.
