Portugal will be involved in fierce fight cons European champions, Spain. By one place in the quarterfinals, 'Samba Europe' no fear and ready to appear offensive to subdue 'La Furia Roja'.
Duel present Iberian peninsula in Cape Town when Spain meet Portugal, Wednesday. Considering both teams included in the ranks of your favorite team, this fight fiercely determined to walk.
Would be difficult for both teams. Style of football we were both similar-similar and I believe this fight will go quickly filled with creativity flows from his players, and a lot of beautiful movements. At this level, I expect a very interesting spectacle of football
Portugal qualify for the round of 16 major without a goal conceded sebiji else in the group phase, a record equaled only by Uruguay. Portugal has made even recorded 22 clean sheets in their last 26 games. However, not a defense that will be a major capital Queiroz's team now face Spain, but an attack.
what is your prediction guys??

I just think that Spain has more depth than Portugal. Given that the spanish bench includes the likes of Fabregas shows that Spain has much more depth in it's team compared to Portugal. Also, when Portugal came up against Brazil and Ivory Coast, they struggled to score. They only scored in one game and that had 7 goals in all. So if you ask me I am picking Spain to win the match against Portugal.
Cheers!

It will be Portugal defending and Spain probing. I don't like to see it at such, but it is a high possibility. We could have the second penalty shootup for the tournament. The first being the on-going match between Paraguay and Japan.

I think so. Portugal are team that usually play offensive. They have good team and good striker too. I think Spain have to keep an eye on Christiano Ronaldo movement. He is central man in Portugal. If he get many supply from his friend in second line he will be dangerous for the Spain goalkeeper.
Spain has played well but often they under confident when met big team. I think Portugal will win this match.

Hi icecubic yeah I agree with you that tonight game is going to be a classic. However the record hold by Portugal of not conceding any goal in the Group stages is not significant as in a knockout everything is different. The pressure of knockouts can get to anyone and even a slight fumble can be catastrophic.Portugal's hope will rest on Ronaldo to a great extent. If he can fire the Portugal will make it to the quarterfinals if not then Spain will be the favourites. If you cansider the two teams separately then the Spanish side is better than the Portugese and my bet is Spain with Villa and Torres scoring goals for their side.

I think Spain will win the match, they have better defensive and offensive than Portugal. The only advantage of Portugal is Cristiano Ronaldo, but football is a 11 people's game,so Spain will be winner.
