Jejemons are seen around social networking sites like Facebook, Friendster, Multiply and etcetera. They are those people with low IQs who spread around their idiocy on the web by typing like this jejeje or anO pOw Yohwn?, making all people viewing their profile raise their eyebrow out of annoyance.
I have a loooot of friends that are annoyed to these kind of people. In my own opinion, imitating this kind of trend can make one forget how to spell words correctly or compose grammatically correct sentences. Kids these days should be more aware on how to improve oneself in a good way. Adopting to environment's trend is a good thing but we should know how to apply them properly.

I see your point. Kids these days should learn how to study hard. I believe that they need more awareness.

I don't like it but I don't get annoyed by it. I don't let my little sister type or text like that because as you said she might forget the correct spelling of words.
But I don't hink there's a need to call these guys idio** or other names. Let us give them their freedom of expression. If they feel that typing that is cute then just let them be. ow khay?

Honestly, I don't like jejemons. For me it's just "kaartehan" they are just exaggerating with their texts. I don't want to offend people who are jejemons but as mellow mentioned, you might forget how to compose grammatically correct sentences. And it's not as good as you think.

I think they are adopting a new culture to make them unique from the rest of us.
Sometimes, not conforming to the majority would make the majority irritated with them.
But that is the risk they have to take. It isn't bad to be eccentric but sometimes in certain situations they need to take their eccentricity a back seat. Like in schools, they shouldn't apply their own language in their school writing compositions unless they want to see themselves flanking their subject.
