Have you guys tried being a website tester? Can you really earn from these? I know a site that's looking for website testers but they haven't launched yet. Can you give me advice on this?

Theoreetically we can earn from almost anything that we do including as a web tester. Realistically I do not think that the programme currently in beta or pe-launch stage will turn out to be as what they promised.
Consider the following
1) How are they going to pay the amount promised? If all registered members become active imagine the total sum payable at the end of each month.
2) How many companies are prepared to pay a huge amount just to have their site reviewed by thousands of eager testers?
The business plan does not look viable.

Do check out the CEO's interview at

They do seem to charge a high amount from international clients for their websites to be tested. Their main promise to the clients looks like they will get quite a number of potential clients who join the site as website testers.

Website Tester's launching is on September 1st so there isn't much to say about how you can really earn. But according to their site you can have passive income by just joining since all the others that registers after you is your downline.
I joined two weeks ago, the promise is too good but they are not asking for any payments and they guaranteed that participation will always be free so I think it's worth a try. ^_^

Yes, I have heard a lot of people working as beta testers. It would depend on the company who hires you if they would pay.
