Would You Like/Want To Live Forever?

Well if it means I would grow old to be 1000 or more years old, then Nope I do not want to live forever. If it means I could pick an age and remain that way for ever. Then yes. This way I could see my children and their children and so forth for ever and ever.

If I will be young forever then why not? But if I'll grow old like a normal person do then I dont want to live forever. And if the world is not a better world to live in then I'ld rather perish.

Actually living forever was what Jahovah intended for us when he created the world. This is still to come when his kingdom with Jesus Christ His annointed King comes upon our earth.

It does depend on whether my loved ones get to live forever as well! I would not like to be the only immortal one because over time all the people I care for and know would be gone and there would be no point going on. If we could all live forever together in a healthy and happy state, why not?

At first, immortality may seem good..but witnessing love ones age and die in front of you for a number of times, you might consider that gift to be a curse.. this what you'll find in Christopher Lambert's Highlander series...

I feel that being born, living a life and then dying is a natural process, so whilst my emotions may want to live forever, there is a part of me that just wants to go with the flow of nature. The time to die is the time to die, and we don't really get to know in advance when this is, so all I can say is that when it die, it is always the right time. It is karma. _Derek

I would not like to live forever. I am in my 50's now and already I use a walker or a wheelchair. Life is hard enough as it is, I would think it would just get worse. If I were healthy, I still probably wouldn't want to live forever. I think it would be hard to see everyone you love die before you. You would be the only one to remember how things were and it might be hard to adjust. There would come a time when you were all alone unless you get new friends.

i would love to live forever just to be a witness at the end of of life and the earth at the same time , it would be one of my dreams to know it how it ended, if we cant know when it started at least i know when it ended :D

I think we get old because of our organs aging and failure to keep the body repaired.So in the future there will genetic engineering or bionic organ transplant to keep the body alive. There are few great movies telling about such tales.Put the human mind is special even if we become immortal being health and strong, but what is the state of the mind,will the mind be corrupted?

as long as my loved ones are living then i would like to live, life is dull and useless if i live and there is no one of them around! happy mylotting =)

I also wish that I can live longer too. I have so many things that I haven do yet. I dono I can live for how many years, but I really don't want to end my life so fast! Only God will know that we still have how many years. Sometimes i ask my friend, why we should end our life so fast, some people end their life when they still young... Our life is depend on God. Now what we can do now is always take care of our health. It's hurt when someone that are closed related to you are gone, but what can we do:(

don't you think it would be too tiring if we live that long, long enough even at the age of more than a hundred years?i'd rather say, i have lived a fulfilled and purposeful life than have to lived this number of years. first hindrance to this would be the physical body. unless we'd live life like edward and the other vampires of twilight then our physical bodies would not be a problem. but then we would not be in within His likeness. Life is indeed a God-given gift. i prefer not to own it completely but have it for me to live even if for a just a little while

Well, as nice as it could be, I'd have to really pick at this. If we all could live forever, what does that do to the population of this earth? Would there be too many people and would there be enough food or jobs? Then would be deplete the earth of its resources and would we continue to live healthy and strong? I think there's a reason why we live and die . . . it's just the natural circle of life . . . I think if humans found a way to live forever, it would throw off the balance in a consequential way.

To live in happiness and health. Would love to. To live forever. But that's just an illusion. That's what sets us apart from our Creator. But while we cannot extend the length of our lives we can sure strive to deepen its breadth! And that sets us apart from one another.

No, I don't want to live forever. I want to live long enough to do things that I enjoy and accomplish the goals I want to complete. I would not want to stay alive forever if the people I love do not stay alive forever with me. I would like to stay alive with good health.

I am a chinese. in ancient china,many people seek living forever,such as Taoism is a religion seeking immortailty,they practise qigong and looking to find the elixir of immortailty . some emperors also seek eternal life,so they sent envoys to oversea with sacrifice of children for God .however ,they all failed ?so live forever just a dream which may be not be achieved forever .why human want to long life ? i think most reasons is to enjoying fun when living .so any way ,to myself ,I do not want to be live forever ,beacuse without my lover ,my dear NaNa ,that is no any fun ,no any significant meaning to my lonely living forever .just like our chinese said , no lover no life.anyway ,that is my opinion about it?
