I am a graduate of Physical Therapy but my work experiences were becoming a teacher and working in call centers. Now I'm an exhibition coordinator.
How bout you? Is your job related to your course?

I think I am lucky as I am in a job that I am have been studying. I studied IT in college and is now working as a programmer.
But I know many people whose job is unrelated to their studies. And yet, they are doing pretty well and I will say that whether it is related simply help us start our career but doesn't have much effect on whether we finally succeeded.

I have a master's degree and it has been absolutely useless in finding employment. In fact, I am certain it has prevented me from getting job offers. The thinking is "overqualified, so he won't stay". I actually intended to get a very different degree and told the enrollment adviser that, but he assured me the program he was recommending was the right one. Great.

i got a master degree.i think the major you studied for is no necessary relate to your job, however, if you lack of experience and skill ,it is no opportunity. you may think that the major is a necessary condition of employment.

My studies are no where near related to what I do currently. I studied computer sciences while in college, now I work in the Agricultural Industry. I do on occassion have the opportunity to do a little work with computers inside of the fish houses but not very often.
