If you were given the chance to change your life, would you?

I know there are a lot of people who are wishing that something in their life would change. Some would even want a drastic and immediate change, such as gender change or be a millionaire at birth, if reborn again. I would still prefer to stay the way I am now, although there were errors that I committed before that could only be rectified if I could turn back the hands of time. Well, that's tantamount to saying "yes", and that I'll change just a little bit of my life. I'm going to change those erroneous moments of the past.

hi, heavensent, who will not want changes?
I will be happy to reborn as a millionaire, more talents, better personality, better health etc etc...
and that is perfectly human.

Yeah heavensent I want the positive changes come from legitimate ways, no short cuts. May be that's one of the reasons the development is slow
Anyways thank you for the BR.

When I discussed and answered my own question, it was a timid, "yes, I want to change my life". I appreciate your honesty and frankness, vijayanths. Our goal is always to better our lives, and if there is a short-cut to that, then why go the long and tedious way?
Thanks a lot to the other responders, I appreciate your answers. Good luck to all!

But do not forget that if there's a shorter way, it must be something absolutely godly and legitimate.

i say even changing those errors you made in your life might make your life better or worse
may be the decision that you made while you were in that situation might not happen to you when you cleared your mistakes and rectified them
you might not learn many things that you might have learned if you made that particular mistake
its like if einstien made changes to his life in the past then we wouldn't have got the energy mass equivalant
i hope u understand me
so life should remain as it is
we have to live it as it should be
peace

I will never would like to change my life. My life is cool, full of emotions, adventures and struggles which I really find fun. I am enjoying my life to the fullest. Playing so much role. I am a daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, and a wife of a wonderful person. I am just exploring each and every moment of my life which is worth and will never let it go for anything. It doesn't mean my life is easy and I have no tensions. Of course I have but I know how to handle and life without stress is worthless. Life must have all the flavors of emotions to learn so much out of it.

Given the chance to change my life, I would greatly improve myself in my high school study to pass the college entrance examination and to study at a better university and because of that I would be able to earn more financially. But to face the reality, I have to work some extra hours outside my work to make more. That is also satisfactory to me though.

I wouldn't want to change my life. I prefer to end what i have started. Also, those errors i have in life have taught me alot and have also taught others about me. Things we have done in life leave our mark, and they may cause negative or positive insights. Still, i would like to keep things the way they are to prove that i have the capability to err and then change for the better.

I admit this also puzzles me for so long now. I have a very high level of confidence in myself and believes I can create my own destiny. I also believe in God, and my version of "Thy Will Be Done" is, God will provide me options to live by. It's up to me to choose. But sometimes, when I am faced with difficulties, some doubts are seeping in, "Is this really God's will?". How can I know this is His will? How can I be sure this is His plan for me? I could have done something better... I could have chosen the other path... What would it be like if I chose the other path?

I am happy with the life that I am living right now. God has given me this wonderful life. God loves me and he new where exactly i am capable of living. He gave me such wonderful parents who took care of me right from my childhood and still look after all my needs. I have a wonderful career and business. I have discovered so many talents and abilities in me. I am really very grateful to God that he has blessed me with so many things that i want to count them and want to feel happy about them. Our God is an awesome God and he loves all his children and he will never let his children suffer. With complete faith in him I live and surrender my whole life to him.

I don't want to change my life again even if I have the chance. Because mistakes could never be avoided, and it is a way to learn more with your life. If I will be changing my life, It's true that I can change my mistakes but how are the people that I already know, met and loved because of that mistake?

Never wait for an opportunity. If you want to change change now. "You cannot do kindness to soon, coz you never know how soon it will be too late". So rather than waiting for an opportunity create a chance and change yourself now. if you wait for an opportunity you will be waiting all your life.

I would most likely change a few mistakes I have done with my life such as relationships that could have been better. But I would still go the same way and same life I have just maybe a few alterations for the better. I have learnt from my other mistakes so I would keep it as it is but for some major issues that could have been improved from way before then that would be something I would be targeting to change.

I want to be the way Iam and wont want any change .
The Unpredictability in Life is what makes it exciting !!
Even if you try to change the mistakes you have made , New mistakes are bound to happen that might be worse than the previous ,who knows .
Accept Life the way it is and that would make it more happier and enjoyable !!

I would change nothing about my life if I was given the opportunity as I am happy with my life. Bad things happen to everyone, and everyone makes mistakes. I feel that I learnt a lot from my mistakes, and if I erase them from my life then the invaluable experience that I have gained from them will be erased too.

As far as changing my past, I don't think I would really change much about it because everything that I've been through is what brought me to where I am today. Sure, there are things that I wish I had done differently (example: Leaving my ex-husband sooner than I did) but I can't change those type of things, so I'm more focused on what I can do now to better my situation. My motivation towards school really needs to improve, somehow, so that I can graduate from college and get a better paying job to support my family.

Ya i agree with this point that each one of us always think to grow more on each day. But unfortunately it will not happen all of sudden. It takes lot of efforts and sincere you put towards your goal will make you success in your life. What are all efforts we are making towards our goal consists of failures, mistakes etc.. we should cross all this and takes failures as stepping stone and mistakes as learning lessons, so that we can achieve our goal more fastly.
Arise, Awake and stop Not till your goal is reached.
