Based om what my younger brother went through you may need to gain some work experience before seeking employment in a different countrym or with a company based somewhere else.
My brother earned a certificate in helicopter maintenance in Scotland. He worked with a local company for more than 5 years. He is now with Bristow Helicopters, and is based in Nigeria.
He landed the job because he had experience. Even so he was later sent to the UK to attend ashort course and take another exanination. It seems that British standards are very high.
