i do feel trapped most of the time. and i am neither happy nor content... what keeps me going is that if 'karma' is really real, then by the amount of pain and difficulties that i've been through can only mean that things will be really good for me in the future.. i just keep my mind on that and keep on moving forward as best as i can

I like your responds because have a similar view of life and have been through a lot of ups and a bunch of crappy downs, and I do believe in karma also. with that said I think someday things will get better for me and you too lets prey its sooner instead of later thanks for stopping in.

Hope you heard of Temples where we worship our gods. One of the steps in the stair case got fed up with its life and started questioning god about its fortune as why on earth it should bear so much pain each and every day (as visitors had to climb the stairs to visit the god and all the steps get hurt when we walk over them) where as the god is being worshiped in a nice shelter with all the luxuries.
Then God replies this way laughing.....
God's Idol and the steps were made of the same marble piece....the difference was the Marble from which the God's idol was prepared has to undergo a lot of pain before the sculpture could come up with that beautiful idol of god compared to the step which was cut into a single piece....if we can compare the pain both stones have undergone...the one which beared more pain(that is God's Idol) is happily enjoying the luxuries where as the other is repenting at the stairs.
So be patient and hope for the best.great day.
