Tired of doing PTC, I think it isn't for me

I have been doing PTC for 9 months already and I really had a hard time convincing people to join under me. Yes, I do have some recruit but they weren't active anymore, most likely after 3 days of clicking they realize it isn't a great income potential so they have given up. As for me, I've reached to the point that I am not motivated to work on it anymore, maybe it isn't for me. I am so envious about other people who have been successful in this field. Do you think PTC is a good source of extra income?

i have a few sites that i visit once in a while. though they offer a little amount, the time spent with them is also a little so i guess they won't affect the time we should be spending with our work or our most favorite sites, like mylot.
