Do you get manicures or pedicures? I had a girls day yesterday with my sister, niece, aunt and Grandma we got manicures and pedicures well they did, I just got a manni, I don't get pedicures because when I ask about pricing for me because I have only one foot (my leg was amputated when I was 2) I'm always told that I'd have to pay full price and I don't believe I should have to pay full price since I have ONE foot. What do you think about this?

Hello offkey,
Thanks for sharing. Life doesn't end with one foot and I can see that in you. You're doing a good job so I salute you. It's also good to know that you have time to bond with your girls! Aw, I envy you (hehe)
Well, they should not charge you a full price. That's so inconsiderate of them. =(
Lastly, I hate to say this, but I usually do my nails - manicure and pedicure. I don't know what's up with me and what I consider personal belongings. I feel like I should not share the tools used for my nails. That's just me, I guess. I had my nails done before but I opted out from it and learned it myself. =)
Happy Lotting!

I don't think you should have to pay full price either. That's so dumb!
With that said, I'm not too into pedicures. I'm very ticklish, so when they massage my feet, I can't help but laugh. I feel so awkward. I do like manicures though. For some reason, whenever I get home after the nail salon, my nails are chipped all ready. I have no clue how. I hate when that happens. I try so hard to keep them nice and wait forever for them dry and then somehow, they get messed up!

Yeah, it is dumb.
That is so weird, I hate that that has only happened to me one time and it was because the manicurist didn't put a top coat on, although that probably isn't what is happening with you, that would make me so mad though after the time and money to get it done and it just gets messed up, that would really suck.

Yeah, I sometimes a mani. Since I know how to do my own pedi, I really don't ask a professional to do that for me. It's just difficult to do a mani on myself since I'm right handed and I kinda not get the hang of having some control on doing the mani using my left hand. And, yeah, you're right, I don't really think you should pay the full price for that.
