Hi mylotters!!
Do you like to quit any of the habits that you are having??Like that of smoking,drinking,not putting things in the right place,getting late always,getting angry,etc.
Frankly speaking,I would like to quit my habit of falling asleep...Today this habit really lands me into a great trouble as I fall asleep while working at office.. I splashed water many times but it didn't helped much.I was too tired.

Everyone in this world tried to eradicate the habit which the other people don't likes. yes i would like to quit one of my bad habit and that habit is jealousy. other is to remove the habit of sleeping for a long time because i really feel for a sleep. always try to opt for good habits and try to eradicate bad habits.

I also don't have bad habits but I just want to cut off some time from my pc cause I can't explore the real world. I don't want to spend half of my life sitting in front of my laptop and surf until I get tired. But I just can't do it especially if you're in a lonely country.

I wash all my clothes at the end of the week...!And that takes forever...So I would like to quit my postponing habits.....

actually i dont have bad habits like smoking and drinking....so there is nothing serious to quit.....but i have a lot of anger....i am a quick or short tempered guy ...and i am having problems due to this anger......so i would like to quit my anger....and i am trying to do so.....happy mylotting

Actually, we do have the same habit. I also fall asleep while working or even just reading a book. I always take vitamins that makes me alert and also take energy drink as well, maybe we can overcome this by telling our mind then set not to do such habit like this anymore.

I really don't like my habit of being annoyed easily by one of my particular officemate. It's just that she had always been a pain in the oops. Like, it seems that she isn't learning at all. We're trained to be independent in our own tasks but, good luck to her on that. Months had passed that I've been always backing her or assisting her in her task, and up til now, she's still the same dependent person as she is way back then.
I really don't have any problem with my patience but when it comes to her, it's a different story now...Guess I'd just have to stretch my patience a little more when it comes to her.

I think one habit that I could live without is being messy. My house is a really big mess. I'm not the only one living here so the mess is not all mine but I did help make a lot of it. Whenever it is the holidays or when a relative visits, we would spend days cleaning and it would look alright for about a week until we mess it up again. I would like to stop doing that...

Well I have a bad chewing gum habit its a bit obsessive lol, but other then that I think I'm ok I mean I'm a pretty clean and tidy person I rarely drink I dont smoke and I'm in reasonably good shape so I guess I dont really have any serous habits to brake though there are certain personality flaws I think should work on but there nothing that would be too bothersome.

Every body has some good some bad habits no doubt and most like to quit the bad ones, but it is very easy to acquire a bad habit, but too difficult to give up unless you have a strong determination and will power.
I think i had the bad habit of smoking, i just made up my mind to quit instanly, no fixing of date or time, believe me i have not smoked for 40 years!!

Hi! I am the opposite of your habit of falling asleep easily. I find hard to sleep at night and there are times I don't have sleep for straight 48 hours. Most of the time I feel sleepy by 3:00am and woke up 9:00am. I want to go back to usual way of sleeping by 10:00pm and wake up 6 or 7:00am. I really want to stop this habit but am still doing the research work.

If I were to quit one habit that I currently have it would be to stop smoking, but at the moment, it would be hard for me, because I get so bored, and stressed with life, that smoking seems to just kind of happen. I hate it though, I hate the smell and the taste, and I hate that I crave for one sometimes. It is the worst thing I have ever done habit wise, I really wish I hadn't started.

Hi tuyakiki, I have a smoke addicted dad and a heavy drinker brother in law of my husband side. Both of them are used to their respective habit for quite a long period and I believe it's quite difficult for them to quit it. Yeah, they had tried several times but they restore smoking and drinking respectively as usual after they the quitting for certain time.
I don't have both the said habits. My severe bad habit is procrastination. I always like to push the primary things or works to the eleventh hour. And you could just imagine how I coop with those secondary ones I always try to quit from this bad habit and get all the works to be accomplished best before the deadline. But it's rather sad that I'm still having such bad habit in doing many minor matters.

well, if there's one thing i would like to change about myself right now is that i expect too much from people. i would like to change that about me, because i always end up getting disappointed and hurt. i'm thinking of trying not to expect anything from anyone, even my friends. that way, i won't get hurt and if they do something for me, then i would just be surprised.

I need to quit smoking and I would like to get sleep a bit earlier. I feel sleepy terribly late at night no matter how tired I am. Apart from these two I can't think of anything else as of now.

I have the tendency to criticize people specially if I expect them to do really good at work. I hate it when people at work makes mistakes. I have this obsessive compulsive disorder. I want everything from presentation to execution to be very organized and excellently done. Sometimes I offend people at work because of this attitude specially when I scold someone in email. I have to be more gentle moving forward. My Manager talked to me about it and told me to be subtle. Why? Because I'll be his successor and of course it's not good to have a bad relationship with your subordinates. They might hate me and not cooperate with me. I must say I'm doing great. So far I can proudly say that I was able to overcome this bad habit.

Habits are usually the accepted and adopted practice of people.So we often take habits as the right thing to do,therefore even if they are bad habits,we usually donot realise it,needn't mention to quit them.
If I realise some of my habits are bad,I am sure I like to quit them.Of course that is not easy to overcome.Habits have their huge inertia.They have rooted in our notions.How could we get rid of the root?
Perhaps we need to plant another root of notion and water it by actual conducts.
