When you are feeling stressed do you think that shopping would relieve some of your stress for you? I know when i was down and upset and stressed out my mom brough me shopping and it did relieve some of it as i could get things off my mind and think about myself and not what was bugging me.

when I am stressed. I just stay inside my room, reading or listening to upbeat music, I don't listen to sad or love song because that will just make more stress on me.
I don't go out talking to people or go shopping because I get easily annoyed with people especially If I don't like the service of the saleslady or the driver, I easily bite the situation.

I believe that shopping is a good stress reliever. When you are shopping , you are not thinking about what brought your stress on. You forget about what is bothering you for a while. Before you know it, you don't even remember what you were stessed about. Shopping puts you in a more relaxing state of mind.

I really don't like shopping so I don't consider it as a stress reliever. Its better for me to just doze off. If I can't sleep then watching something or playing some games really help for me.

Hello lologirl2021! I don't see shopping as my stress reliever. I really never got hooked into shopping although it feels good sometimes when you have something new to buy. When I shop, I always think about the price that's why I ended up not buying anything.
I would consider a stress reliever everytime my husband and I will go out and eat. I forgot everything when my husband and I are together.

Hi my friend, i like shopping which really drag me out from the bad mood. Going on the street, looking at the beautiful clothes, exquisite decorations which will let you forget the stress and make you find that life is so nice and interesting. And if you feel tired of walking, you can just sit down in the coffee shop, drink a cup of tea, just sit quietly without any thought. you will be energetic soon.Happy every day.

shopping is a good stress reliever because you will be exposed to many people, see a lot of items, buy what you want just to treat yourself and forget the stressors. But this is only good if you have money. But if you are stressed out and doesn't have a money or you have shortage, then I think it will only add up to your stress.

Sometimes it does help me. I like to pamper myself when I'm in a bad mood or something, so yeah. I think we get stressed and in bad moods a lot because we don't pamper ourselves or spend time doing what we want to do. Sometimes it's okay to do what you want or buy something nice for yourself.

One way to distress myself is to eat a loooot of chocolates and shop. It has always been therapeutic for me when I eat chocolates. I gives me the feeling that everything will work out just fine. I've read that when one eats chocoloates it releases endorphins in their body. Endorphins are considered to be enzymes that make someone happy. So if your stressed or feeling sad - grab a chocolate. Happy eating!

Yes, shopping is one sort of a therapy especially for us females. Most men do not find that shopping is a stress reliever, though. For myself, I really love shopping and would spend the whole day parading the mall if I have the money. Unfortunately I am not able to spend money on shopping just to relieve stress because I don't have any money for that purpose.
Due to that reason, whenever I feel stressed out it is difficult for me to escape from the situation because my options are limited. I don't like gardening, jogging or fishing and these activities usually makes me more stressed out. I really love shopping and I know shopping will be a very effective therapy for me. I just wish that I have the money to do so.
