This last weekend was filled with storms. Two weeks ago we had tornados rip throught the country side tearing up 70 farms in our area. This last weekend straight line winds and pelting rains...but today...Today was perfect! I woke up and it was 57 degrees which is quite cool for June...the high today was in the mid 70's. No one could ask for better weather. How has your weather been?

I heard about the tornados ripping through the midwest, how awful. Glad that you are ok.
We just finished triple digit heat and have sunk back into the 90's and later this week they are calling for high 80's. We really can't complain to much as we have had unseasonly cool weather this year. Almost made it through the entire month of May without hitting 90, but the last day proved that wrong. Would have been the first time in 31 years to not hit 90 in the month of May.
Glad to hear that you had a beautiful day after such devistation. I hope it continues for awhile. Happy Mylotting!!!

Two beautiful days in a row so far here near the cities.
Got a lot done as you know in the past 2 days as well.
Got that dang deck finished finally before it started to fall apart.
No tornados near me but high winds were prevalent here.
Did some damage to my red maple out front.
Lots of bark and smaller branches ripped from it.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Hello friend, I read far more than I respond to here now. Most of the time when I get to the discussion everything that I would have said has already been said, so I just skip, sometimes leaving a comment here and there.
It is very different here than it was 4 years ago for earnings, but I was never here for the earnings, just to have fun. Well maybe when I first joined I was for the money, but in a few days from starting I was just here to give my 2 cents worth!!! Nice to see you around.

For the past week it has been our typical Hazy Hot and Humid weather. But today, it was in the 60's this morning and there is a cool breeze. A cool breeze in June! Amazing.

If you live SE of Ohio, I believe that we had gotten your bad weather, but not as bad..Just strong thunderstorms, nothing as serious as tornados. Though I am sorry for the bed weather you had, I really loved the rain, it made it so I didn't have to water my plants. The last couple days have been great though, less humid and no rain, making it comfortable..Then again, it is only June... The hottest days of summer are not here yet..

Our weather has stunk since the kids have been out of school. No major storms, but it's been rainy a lot. Today is sunny but very cold! It's terrible because now we're pretty much stuck in the house due to this nasty weather.. and all the kids really want to do is go swimming. It's been so stressful with us not being able to go do anything.

I live in Australia and it is winter here. It has been freezing for us. We had zero degrees a couple of days ago and for us it was the lowest June temperature on record! The days are nice and sunny and it feels colder indoors than it does outdoors. We need some rain which is fine as long as there are no freezing cold winds to go with it!

Its good to hear that you had a beautiful day!! For every storm their is a rainbow and every cloud a silver lining. Enjoy the good weather wile you have it. :D
I live in Las Vegas Nevada and its been in the Hundreds for weeks now :/ im not much for the heat. My favorite weather here comes in the fall when the tempreture drops and its a little more breezy out.

aw im sorry about that, its probably depressing and sad. Im in NYC and its just hot and humid all day long, yesterday was insanely hot. But its better than having a toranado come and destroy property. But i used to live in utah where they had farms, hehe i guess thats the only way i can relate. Did your farm or property get damaged by chance, or where you lucky?

We actually had a decent month in June. Was hot but no tornadoes and not many storms either. This week has been fantastic in the St. Louis area. High 50's this morning and should only be in the 80's today with no humidity. It's the humidity in our area that is breath taking. Gets that hot and I stay in the air conditioning. Rain is predicted for this weekend and probably because it's a holiday. Never fails!
Have a fun weekend,
carolbee

Lots of wind and rain around here, but not so much that it screwed up my plans, and made it uncomfortable standing at the bus stop.

Hi, jillhill. All last week, it has been storming here on and off. We have had some rain too. It is all because of the hot heat. It was in the 90s all last week and this week too. I am very sorry about the tornadoes ripping up the farms in your area. I wished that we could have some cool weather where we are located. It has been nothing but hot where we are located.

Hey jill! We also had torrential rains yesterday, hot in the 90's
and humid beyond belief! And today although it was in the 80's
it wasn't as humid, thankfully! But, now at almost 11:00PM it is
75 degrees with a beautiful coolish breeze and the promise of
cooler temps and less humidity tomorrow! We can only pray! It
finally feels nice to sit in my kitchen/office without the fan
on!
