I'm sure we've all seen the old movies that predicted we would have flying cars by the new millennium. Well, according to an article I read, we might be getting closer. It appears that a style of a flying car has been approved by the FAA (I think).
Do you think a flying car will be seen in your lifetime?
Would you ever get a flying car?
How would they conduct traffic with flying cars?
Are we closer to becoming like the Jetsons? lol

it will take quite some time to make it real.i dont think i will see now or 10 years from now.if they do the price will be more than you can afford.i wonder how the first version will look like as we know the first would be the ugliest and bigger in size.i hope not.

I dont think they will have it in my lifetime, but it would be awesome if they did. Of course i would get a flying car.. ive wanted one since i was a kid :). I dont really know how theyd conduct the traffic in the air.. Itd be very difficult. And yes, we are becoming more like the Jetsons :D

i've seen a similar article. i don't know if it's the same one. it has a foldable wings on the side so you can use it on the road.
it might be possible with the way the technology's going now, right? if there is one, i'd probably get one if i could ever afford it. i would love to learn how to fly it. and it would be easier to travel to place that i wanna go to. it'll probably cost less than flying commercial. :)

To make cars flying is not the biggest problem as I can see. In fact, they are just smaller version of planes and thus creating them isn't quite a big surprises.
However, whether we will see them flying all around? I strongly doubt that. When you can't even fly a private plane just anywhere anytime without being controlled and monitored by countless authorities, I couldn't see how flying cars can break all these restrictions.

If that happens then there will be less traffic as it is one of the reason I am always late going to work. But thinking of it scares me, It will be very weird seeing flying objects like UFO. And it is also dangerous though what if their is an accident above and the cars will fall down to someone's house or people perhaps. In that case, I will never go outside my house anymore.

I don't think we're anywhere close to having flying cars. At least, I don't think it'll become our main mode of transportation, flying in the air. It doesn't seem practical to me because we wouldn't have roads under us to help guide our way...I don't know, but it doesn't seem possible to me and it seems really dangerous.
