Spain dispatched Portugal thanks to a goal from David Villa. Portugal goalkeeper was in inspired form else Spain would have won by a much larger margin. Christiano Ronaldo cut a sorry figure out there in the middle, hardly making any moves and even when he had the ball, he was hardly impressive. Spain seemed to have regained their passing game and that is ominous for the teams that come up next.
What do you think of Spain's performance yesterday?
Cheers!

they're warming up and getting used to the pitches in south africa... and they won against the mighty portugal so they're one team to beat... but the other teams are also going through the same process. It's now a matter of strategy, and who warmed up more :)

They did well. They let the gane come to them. I mean they didn't have to force anything to happen. Am I right? I am Still trying to get my " soccer eyes" I am still a novice.

I am very happy about Spain defeating the mighty Potugal. The cutie-pie-Christiano Ronaldo's charmness and his incredible mass of fans support didn't help the team much.Spain's strong defending tactic helped them to win the game.Cheers to Spain for now.
