For me it was Tsunami. Thousand of dead people floating, hanging on the tree and some other gruesome scenes and kids cried for their lost parent. Heartbreaking news.

I think I'm still in shock over that...can't believe he's gone..I still cry when I think of it...he was a wonderful man who made a great contribution to this world...and I agree that his daughter will follow in his footsteps.

The crash of a C47 airplane carrying Vietnamese children to new homes in the United States just outside of Saigon in March 1974. There were some survivers. I was asked to take a few of them in my car to the airport when Pan Am offered a 747 to take them and others to the States. It tore me apart but I believe God gave me the strength to overcome my emotions caused by the sight of these young survivers fighting not to board the plane. One of the children who didn't make had lived with my boss and his wife and I came to adore the little tyke...3 years old.
