Everyone is looking for the reasons thatkids are turning violent and today it's video games! I say they could'nt be anymore wrong. What is missing here is a guiding hand, and the hand of loving discipline. I find that the kids today need more attention than ever from the parents, if the parent were to listen, take more time and time and talk with kids there would be less troubled kids in the world! Of course discipline should fair,to the point square on the bottom but never over done!

I agree with OP. Also, I'd like to refer to Penn & Teller's Bullsh*t! episode on video game violence.

No, video games have not caused any increase in violence. To be honest I really think the increase stems from our own society and the fact that many parents don't spend time with their kids, nor do they teach their children right from wrong.

Hey darkdeivu! I totally agree with you!Children need to have their parents behind them and keep them confident, save, secure, healthy and so on. Video games aren't causing violence in youth. There was a blog post about a computer game which was supposed to cause violence and sexism in children.Later in the same month the same game was on the news but it wasn't suspended. What the creators of the game did was make the TV prove that the game caused violence. They couldn't.Since then i don't believe computer games cause violence in children. Thanks for the discussion,Happy mylotting

your reasoning is plausible.. violence in video game is contributory to this perception of violence.. producer should screen their products for gore and violence..
