It is said that the colchicine exists in the fresh day lily and tiger lily buds. After the colchicine entering into the body to oxidize will produce a substance rich in toxic. Who can tell me its real name? Thanks a lot.

I do know that colchicine is used to treat people with gout and rheumatism but some people have allergic reactions to it, but I know of no other name for it.
