This is town where you also can find the old way of life in Camboidia, between the Capitol and the Angkor Wat temple, a place worth seeing.
I stay here from 2004 -2009, many new changes begins.

Hi ericcam168! We are planning to go to Vietnam in September for my Mom's birthday and hopefully visit Angkor Wat in Cambodia. I wanted to know if there are rules when you visit the Angkor Wat temple? Like is there some kind of dress code, no wearing of shorts or anything like that?

Well, if you're in Vitenam, Ho Chi Min City, you can find a local tour to Siem Reap, Angkor Wat. Of course you need a Visa to Cambodia, and a $20+ us to visit to Angkor Wat you're free to wear any clothing as the weather will be warm at that time. 2 or 3 days to visit other places beside Angkor temple. I went to Cambodia back in 2005 and I got the opportunity to see the Angkor Wat as well as other temples. It was a great experience. I don't know about now but there's no dress code or anything like that. I'd recommend going in something comfortable though since you might do some climbing (don't know if they remodeled the stairs or not). And wear tennis shoes because you'll be walking around a lot since there is a lot of ground to cover.

Hi ericcam168! What town is that? I went there a few month's back and I enjoyed everything bout Cambodia... How I wish I can come and visit it again in the near future. I am planning to visit the site where there are some engravings on the river bed at the foot of a waterfalls... I forgot the name of the place. Also, I wanna visit Phnom Penh....

Hmm...which town are you talking about? It sounds really interesting. When I went to Cambodia a few years back I didn't get to travel around as much as I wanted to since we were visiting some relatives. I do want to go again some day and travel around the entire country sampling their goods and sightseeing. It sounds like an ideal vacation and I hope to be able to do that in the future.
