I have a full time job. It gives me net income of 24 thousand per month. However, the job is so hard because it requires me to spend more time in the office being the Human Resource Head for a company. I want to spend more quality time with my family, do the things I love doing like writing and painting, and read books. The best solution I can think of is start my own business. But how and when should I start?

The currency is pesos. $1 is equivalent to 49 pesos. Thus, 24 thousand is not really that big. I can't buy a car with the high expenses we have because city life is quite high priced or high cost for living.
The MLM that I've joined is Forever Living.

You're so lucky to be earning so much in a month snowhybiscuis! Some people can just dream about earning just half of what you're earning. You should be very thankful and I'm sure your family is also thankful for what the money you've earned can buy them.
Your problem as I can understand is that you want to spend more time with your family and because of job obligations you're not able to. And you think your solution is to enter into business.
You would certainly have more time with your family if you enter into business where you hire other people to run it and you just collect the money. Getting into the franchise business is one way. It's a proven business model. You just hire people to run it and you don't need to do it all yourself. However, the initial capital outlay can be really substantial. You may need to apply for a bank loan.
You can also purchase a building or a few houses and rent them out. You collect the money at the end of the month. You don't need to work hard with this rental business.
These are just my suggestions. Good luck.

Hi UmiNoor.
Yes, I acknowledge that I did found a good paying job. But you are right, I lack time doing what I really love to do. And so I am thinking of doing business.
You have given me good practical advise for a business. I think I will consider it. Now, my next step would be to find capital to fund it. Maybe, I would continue replying to blogs and try to earn online for extra income.
Thanks again.

You are lucky, you earn that much in a month. I earn half of what you are earning monthly. Every person will surely love to spend more time with their families and of course their children. Starting up a business is just one of the options you can choose. A business still needs attention especially when you are just starting up so your dream of spending more time with your family will not be achieved at first. But before going into business, you should fabricate a plan, a business plan. What business would you like to start with, your capital, location, finances. Making a detailed business plan, business projection and feasibility studies is essential before really going into business.

Thanks for your advise. I really want to go into business like online writing or having a training center. However, I lack the capital. I may need more time and deliberation to start up a good business. Thanks again.

Don't you have any off day at work? I am sure you have..? maybe you just need to balance your work time and your family time.! if you are earning in dollars that's big enough..If you ask me, I will just keep my work and figure out how can I balance my work and my family and the things I love to do.! It's hard and difficult to find a good job with that kind of salary.
But If you really want to start a business, I think it's just the same as having your job now because you will need to focus more on it.
They always said: Most successful business are those that made it out of their hobby! things they love to do..because doing things you love to do is not a work at all but more of fun.!

I do have day offs. But you see, I spend my day-off doing community services and this is what I really love doing. Aside for it, my interests includes writing, drawing, painting and photography. Right now, I can't think of a good job that would actually fit my interest. Thus, most of the time, I get tired and I don't really get satisfied.

You need to have an idea of what kind of business you would like to start up and then based on that figure out market and opportunities. But you can start up any day you want, the longer you wait the longer time it takes before your business is profitable.

Thanks for that. You see I am good in training, arts, and writing. Maybe I'll start with training. Because that is my line of expertise.

Thanks so much annett. I have tried writing online. However, I lacked the time and I learned that it lessen my chance of finishing it on time because when you work at home, there are so many distractions. Maybe I would need to find an office first away from my home. Hahaha... That is somehow defeating the purpose. Thanks a lot.
