Do you feel reading as boring or exciting?

I love reading books that interest me.I can forget time if i start reading a good book.But these days other activities and responsibilities are so many that i can read a few books in a year.If i read an interesting book before i sleep i never get sleep.But if the topic doesn't interest me then i might fall asleep.

I really do enjoy reading. I've enjoyed reading, ever since I was a kid. Although I do enjoy reading a lot and find reading very exciting, there are still some books that won't really interest me as much as others, but I think that this is the case for almost everyone.

This is a very good discussion alienstar! I love to read books. If a story is interesting enough I will read it in one day. I am constantly going to the library to check out new books! I am very fortunate that the local library has a good selection and frequently gets new books in. Of course there is nothing wrong with re-reading a good book either! I am considered to be a "bookworm" and I am proud of that fact!

I love to read but it depends on the book if I find it sleepy or not.Sometimes I lose sleep because if reading but somtimes I find sleep because of it to. Especially if the book is like a manual or text book, just 10 min and I feel like snoring.

reading is an exciting activity.it doesnt matter whether it is a book, an articles,magazines, novels or other medium, as long as i enjoy reading it then it's fine to me.i love to read.i have a collection of books and articles and there are some i haven't finish read yet.need to spend some time for them.

Well,to be honest,I don't like reading books.But sometimes when I am very mad,I will read a book to calm myself down.Then I will feel better rather than worse.I can't control myself in some situations.There is a time I can't stand a person so I fought with him.What he did really made me angry.After that I tried to read a book to settle down and it does a good job.

I think it's a correlation between the book you're reading and the level of interest you have for it. Books have many functions. Like you said, they could be used for people who have trouble getting to sleep. They can be useful instruments in gaining knowledge, helping you figuring out something, and even sometimes as a weapon (especially when you're annoyed at someone). My relationship with books is very ambivalent. At times, I crave for the comfort of books, but these days, I get bored with those easily. There was a time I fell in love with a book so much that I couldn't put it down till I finally finished it. But there are other times where I would only get the book because either the cover looks good or because people I know tell me its good. But more often than not, I end up not finishing the book and using it as a good item for aesthetic display.

frankly say i feel reading as interesting or we can say exciting. reading is a very interesting aspect of life and reading makes one understand the topic in the particular field in a very easy way. when i starts reading books then i doesn't feel whatever is happening around me.

well for me both, there are books that i am not really a fond off. But there are some that i finish in just one sitting.

I used to love reading when I was younger, and although I still enjoy it I find that I don't really have the time to sit back and enjoy a good book. Reading can be exciting if you are interested in what you are going to read. I only find books boring when it's something I'm bot particularly interested in it.

before when i was still a student i used to drop by to a bookstore and read books there.yeah,i do read books from bookstores when i was passing time,i really loved reading those interesting books like making money or novel books or becoming a good individual or more of cooking.anything that attracts me.when i was in college i used to have night shift and i make time to go early before i go to school,i would read the novel of the one i wanted to read.it's like reading for free.i remember i would take thirty minutes to one hour then the guard would notice me,that time i would stop then go bsck the other day just to read again,hehe i was kinda addicted to reading novel books back then.sometimes i also do read in our house while passing time then before going to sleep.i loved reading before,but now most of the time i spent my pass time to mylot.this way,i can earn while learning as well.and plus the interaction of people here and fun it brings to make my day a little brighter.i guess mylot is my life now,same as music and reading.

Call me crazy...but I'm head over heals in love with books. Reading is a form of therapy for me. I need to read from time to time. I can't live a day without reading. I don't fall asleep reading, in fact I become more awake when I'm reading.

Well !!! reading is still much better than doing nothing while watching movies still the best method to inspire my imagination and to fill my free time , i think that reading is a great skill which can be developed by time to improve knowledge , especially printed books they are way different from e-books .

I never liked reading books, and I only read what I had to in school. Nowadays I only read my courses from the University and that is where my bookreading habits end.

Hi there Alien Star! I like reading books a lot. I like different kinds of books too. Whenever I have a free time, I would pull out a book and read that's why I always carry a book with me wherever I go. It keeps me from getting bored and most of the time, when I am on a really exciting part of the book, I have a hard time putting it down that sometimes it becomes my priority over other tasks.

Hello alienstar! I have various reasons why I read books. There are times I read because I love reading books. Like many people, I also read at night so I could easily go to sleep. I read too to kill the time especially when I'm waiting about something. Regarding your question about if reading is exciting or boring, my answer is "it depends." If the book is boring to read, I would say it's boring but if the book is exciting to read, then it is exciting.

Reading has never been a boring thing to me because I have started appreciating reading when I was only nine years old and since then I have a collection of the books by my favorite authors and so. I just love to read books.

I love to read books although with two kids running around me, I do not really get much time to read, but I hope to soon when my youngest is older. Reading a book though for me, does not bore me at all. I find them interesting whether they be fiction or non-fiction. A lot can depend on the book though I think, and I think that some people if they had found a book that they really enjoyed then they would get right into reading, sometimes if someone reads a book that does not do anything for them, or bores them, then it puts them off reading anymore. Some people just do not have time to read a book, and some just do not have any interest in it at all. Personally I think reading is very under rated, and that everyone should enjoy a good book now and again, in my mind it keeps the mind active!

I really love to read books...since childhood itself I love it..but my friends used to get bored ..when I read books as they wanted to play with me...lol and till now I have this habit...but the only condition is ..that it should be a book of my taste ..it should not be on a subject that I don't like or a topic i which i don't understand.then I would get sleepy and bored. But if its a really nice book and among my favourites then I can forget things like T.V. or other entertainment activiteis...until I finish the book or I get too tired to read another word from it..

I think is very exciting . I read many books since i leran reading. In my first year of school my teacher give us a summer homework; read 100 stories. All the children was upset except me. Now i enjoY reading too, is one of my hobbies.
