Wow...thumbs up to the movie Karate Kid, it's a must see movie. The movie was really emotionally driving, I was moved. It was not an ordinary show for me but new way of appreciating martial arts. The movie wasn't only about Karate but at the same time teaching us principles; the principles of perseverance, trust and discipline. This is my new favorite movie now at the top of my list so far Karate Kid I am Sam Pursuit of Happyness How about you have you watched the movie Karate Kid? If yes, how do you find it?

I've watched Karate Kid 2010 earlier today with a friend of mine and we love it. In addition to Jackie Chan, Will Smith's son is adorable and I think he really studied his role that is why he portrayed it well with conviction; plus the fact that the story is trying to teach us so many lessons. Kung Fu is not a device to be used for revenge. It is a gift of knowledge that hones your self-esteem and self-discipline in facing obstacles in life successfully with full of courage and patience; and I like the statement of Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), "People have the right to choose whether or not to get up from a fall." I guess I will always keep that in mind too. It is so motivational.

I loved the definition of Kung Fu. "Kung Fu is not for fighting. Kung Fu is about making peace with your enemy"

which Karate Kid movie are you talking about? Is it the newest one starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith? If so, well, it's not that nice. Well, not what I was expecting. First of all, there was no KARATE involved in the movie. Not a single karate move! it should be called Kung Fu Kid. secondly, the plot is so predictable. very similar to the old karate kid movie where the kid gets injured blah blah blah thirdly, there weren't much fight scenes for jackie chan. What's the purpose of putting him there if you'll only give him 1 fight scene, and he's fighting kids in the scene! wth! The movie was more focused on the story than the martial arts. If you want movies that are more focused on the martial arts watch old Jackie Chan movies and jackie Chan movies that Jackie Chan produced! I've got to comment Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan for their acting though. great acting!

Whats the difference between KARATE and KUNG FU? It's basically the same. kung fu = chinese, karate = japanese. The characters are chinese so they have to use the word 'kung fu'.

@xcel it was nice for me too, just not what I expected :) didn't exceed my expectations though, but all in all, a great movie @damned_dle there's a huge difference between Karate and Kung Fu, as with all martial arts. Both are martial arts but both have a different form. If you'll observe both martail arts, you'll see the big difference. Karate is more focused on power, karate uses the body to deal damage, emphasis on using kicks and punches. Kung Fu on the other hand focuses on using the whole body and and everyday objects as weapons
