i barely use make-up. of course, while it's important to let our natural beauty shine, it's no sin to use skin products like creams and sunscreen to enhance and protect our facial skin. if you're taking good care of our skin, you won't need a lot of make-up to cover it. in fact, you'd be prouder of yourself if people notice your good skin without make-up on.

yup sun screens are very good for skin. And i agree that a healthy skin is hundred times better than lot of make-up

I used to barely wear any make up. Now because I started new medication, I started to break out and get a redness around my mouth. I use make up to cover all that up. The trick is, is to know how to use make up correctly.
I start off with a moisturizer. I let that dry for about 10 minutes. Then I use a foundation brush to apply liquid foundation. Always remember to use criss cross motions. If you go in 1 direction, you'll get streak marks. Next I use concealer and a concealer brush to touch up spots. Finish it all off with a kabuki brush and a powder. Either powder foundation, a bronzer, or blush.
You always want to use brushes so you don't get oil on your face, and remember to clean the brushes at least 1x per 2 uses.

I think there are two approaches to the use of makeup - one is to use makeup to enhance your natural beauty, another is to make you look like someone else (usually a person or look you believe to be 'more beautiful). Personally, I'm all for natural beauty-enhancing makeup. I don't see anything wrong in flaunting what you already have. And these days you'll notice that the "natural look" is all the rage - just watch TV or the movies and you'll see more subdued colors and makeup that looks as if there weren't any makeup at all. It's a great look because it's all for embracing what you have. And it the best-working type of makeup out there.
I think that if you learn to appreciate and love yourself for what you are, with makeup or not, flaws and all, then others will love and appreciate you in that way too.
Makeup works - if doesn't enhance the wearer's beauty, at least it makes you feel more confident and beautiful as you step outside your house to face the world.

In my opinion, make-up is not for everyone. Many people who put make-up on will really look good and will look like a whole new person ( that is those for some with not-so good looking ). With the different brands and other beauty enhancements that are in the market, an ordinary face can really become a head-turner ( I've seen these make-overs in a Chinese show)
But for girls already blessed with good looks, I've noticed that when they wear make-up, they don't look as beautiful as when they have nothing on. They look beautiful naturally, any enhancement made on them will make them look silly.

Go with mineral, it blends well with the skin but make sure to get a mineral powder that is closest to your skin tone. A light touch for the blush will do. Add a little lip gloss and your good to go. It also helps if you put a little mascara, clear mascara will do, then curl it. It makes your eyes look wider and you look fresher.

I'm like you I like natural and don't like the feeling of makeup on my face. I usually only moisturize then I put on cover stick under my eyes due to dark circle that I inherited from my Dad. I will then put on moisturizer for my lips with a little bit of lipstick over that. Then I'm ready to go. I have heard that covergirl makeup is light and feels good, like you don't have any makeup on but I just rather go naturally then have stuff on my face. If I'm involved in a special occasion then I will go with light covering of makeup but thankfully this happens rarely.
