Why God give us 2 ears but 1 Mouth? In my opinion, God tells us to listen more than talk. What is your opinion?

First of all words can cause a lot of pain or a lot of smiles. He wanted us to listen more so than to speak. Learn more so than talk and pay attention more so than trying to lead. They word is a lamp unto they feet and the light is the path to eternal life. The word is every thing and all that God intended for it to be. If we had two mouths and one ear we constantly be conflicting each other and never hearing or listening to what one had to say

That is a good explanation. In my own opinion their is a need to listen more before deciding to speak out so everyone have a balance of all the things weight it out carefully to spoke of relevant things that is beneficial to all than to speak which have nothing special.

Maybe....that's a good way to look at it. I think God gave us 2 ears cause he knew that we would be needing a pair of eyeglasses when our eyes go bad and then he gave us 1 mouth to shut up about lasik.

i do like your question.. this is the 1st time i have though of that idea, but I do agree with you. Maybe because He wants us to listen more than talk and judge other people. He wants us to be more attentive in lending our ears to those needy people than sermon them. This one thought, I'd remember from now on.Thanks

Having two mouths will make the human talkative and unlike the mouth, the ear can be more than one for it does not produce sounds.

I think we have developed over time to have 2 ears, one on each side of your head, because it allows us to hear from both sides and be safer, able to hear predators approaching either way they try to attack us.
