Hello! In my experience an hour ago, it can't reduce stress. Thus, it made me stressful. Because the ming2x of ma'am Ragz is always crying. And I don't know how to stop her... :-(

Very true.. I often feel better after a bad day by going home and hugging my pets and they make me laugh all the time.. which is better than crying.. :-) I will always surround myself with pets.. they are a large part of my happiness.

a lot of health experts have already said that having a pet helps alleviate stress.having a pet who will be excited to see you when you come home can help put a smile on your face.playing with you pets can help you feel good.having a pet who totally trusts, cares, and love you is a great way to reduce stress.

in my case, yes, it is true. M pets always make me relax and gvies me soemthing to do. My kitten makes my daughter's i hate-to-get-up mornings a happy one when it will jump on bed and smell her face. Sometimes i use my kitten to wake daughter up by rubbing her face with kitten's paw & saying...wake up big sister! and this makes my daughter smile. my other 2 boys (cats) makes me laugh all the time with their funny ways..and my Orange Crayfishes ( i have 4 aquariums) sells good which can cover for the pet foods and cat vaccines/tablets. So..by me,having pets are a nice way to balance daily stresses.

Yes it is true, did you know that if you have dogs with you, your life span will increase of 2 years? My dogs are always a stress reliever for me although sometimes they make me stress cause of their wrong doing but all in all they give joy to my life.

I believe there are two sides to this coin. For one, I love my dogs very, very much. Playing with them, taking them out for walks, and cuddling with them make me feel needed and happy. Petting and stroking them when I feel sad, angry, or particularly stressed out helps me relax. On the other hand, my dogs do cause some amount of stress from time to time. I have miniature pinschers, and they are quite the yappers. When they all bark at the same time, I get headaches if they don't stop soon. One of them, Milo, seems to get into accidents too often in my opinion. Taking him to the vet for emergency procedures does stress me out alot. But when you weigh them all up, pet ownership sure has more benefits :)

Yes they can. If you watch a dog or cat playing around you feel relaxed looking at it. Its just like stress buster. Infact even when you look at animals and birds playing you feel happy looking at it. When as a kid i was studing in the garden, i noticed a squirell playing and i was noticing it for almost 2 hours.

Completely true. I have two cats and three dogs, as well as two ferrets and a horse. All of them can help me feel better, even if I'm having the worst day. When I'm feeling really bad, all I want to do is curl up and cuddle with my dog. They're true friends, no matter what.
