Problems at PTC sites after cleaning computer

I took my computer to a technician to be "cleaned" of viruses and to take away and reload some programs.
The computer came so clean that the machine forgot my passwords and many times my username. I am doing a difficult job of getting it back. I specially worry about my old sites. They are legit so many times I just leave my money there without asking for cashout.
Have you had problems like that with your computer? Has it hindered your money earning? It has been a problem to me, because the sites don´t give me my share of my referrals earnings unless I click each day, as you know. How do you solve that? Share so we all learn.

I wish I learned how to keep things in order. I have never learned to save my work either. It´s not that I don´t know how; I just don´t do it. Once I lost one of the stories I had written. It was one of the stories I liked best. It was when an old computer literally went to pieces and we could not get into the hard drive to retrieve the information.

Hello Life, well it has been very busy around me for a month or so, but im back over periods.... July is also really busy for me *sigh* But a few minutes here and there to check in on MyLot.
Marguicha maybe you have now learned to save things? I have experienced same of yours and eventually it is just to many logins to keep track of...

It happened to me a while ago when I reformatted my old PC so I have learnt now to back everything up and note all user names and passwords before I clean the computer out. At the time I asked all the sites concerned for my passwords etc, it took forever but I don’t know how else I could have done it.

I am being more careful now. My computer had gotten so bad that it had even lost passwords and cookies. I could not enter my favorite traffic site for more than a week.

My email has also changes. I worked better having my hotmail in the outlook express but now it seems you can only see it from the web. And it´s not as easy as the other way.

Hi
It is very sad to know about this type of problems. Since i have not faced such problems so far, i do not know how can i be of some use to you, I will ask my son, whether he knows anything about this as he has some knowledge about the errors and solve it very easily. if i get any positive answer, then i will contact u.

I am doing it very slowly. It seems that I should have saved some information before sending the computer to the technician. I´ll solve it.

Nope, I don't save my password either in my own pc. I have my list of legit sites and my account details on it. I've encountered being hacked before so I better be careful now.

Well done! But when you "clean" the computer, doesn´t the technicin erase some things you need?

Well i have formatted my computer many times yet i didn't face any problems of such. cant you remember your password you used for each site. Why not try and check your email because when you sign in for a site that site will send you and email confirming your user name and password. if still you are unable to recover your password send an email to the site administrator stating your email address and user name and asking for recovery of your password
