Federer out of wimbledon 2010

Yes, the biggest upset of the Wimbledon which was 7 years in the making. This is the first time in 7 years that he will not be in the final of Wimbledon!! I think he has been so magnificent over the years that people can't really think that he will lose, but he is human and had to lose sometime. Also, since he suffered from the Lung Infection after the Aussie Open, he has not been the same with defeats in quarters in French Open as well. Also he has not won any tournament since the Aussie Open. I think he should take some time off the game to full recuperate and then come back. Cheers! Ram

I'm not a fan of his, so this it good news to me. He was even whining afterwards bout not being able to play well because of back problems. You didn't hear Roddick whining last year after he was injured in the 4th set against Federer in the final and still managed to push a healthy Federer to 16-14 in the 5th.

yup, a shocking defeat I must say. I was hoping for another Federer Nadal encounter in the finals.. Federer is currently world number 2 and this loss will put him further down. Well, it had happened before and everybody called it was end of Federer's reign but Federer came on the top, regained world no. 1, won french open and other major chamionships. Lets see what happens now, only time will tell. hope for the best :)

Really, I am also a very big fan of him but he makes me upset now and then. Maybe, he has lost the zeal. He should take lesson from Sachin Tendulkar (cricketer)for his indomitable zeal and spirit.

He had problems since the first match this year, at Wimbledon. It's a surprise, but not a big one.
