Hi,
Didn't know you are in myLot as well. I hope you remember me (Trinod: The porcelain princess). Okay. I have two blogs though I concentrate more on one that is about engineering. I made this blog with the sole purpose to help engineering students. I don't give much effort to promote my blog. I just keep track of the evolution of technologies and go according to them. I often have to check out different syllabus of different universities. I have been introduced to many students through my blog. They also provide me with necessary feedback. I write long articles too. So I don't make frequent posts. I want my articles to be rich and timeless. I want them to be original. They are written in a way such that the students may get a crystal clear conception after reading it. So understandability and depth is more important than brevity. Thanks.
God bless you

As per my consideration, as long as you are satisfying the need of your targeted readers, the length and frequency of posts shouldn't matter.

I'm a daily blogger and I've been doing it for over three years. I guess I'm good at the babbling thing. It also allows me to make a little money since I also do paid posts. If you're drawing a blank on what to blog about you might want to check out http://journalingprompts.com/ for ideas.

Seems everyone kinda gave an answer that I agree with except I don't blog on one topic but many they are all interest of mine and people I talk to seem to like it so I continue to release my blog post about once a week sometimes more on a whole range of different topics mostly tech stuff but thats because I am a programmer/gamer in my free time I do many different things so my blog is as diverse as a person is I think that is a better way to handle it but that is just me. So I guess I model my blog off a television station in that it are all topics I like or have things to say about and I post them. I don't get many comments though but have gotten like 288 views.

try to post more often in your blogs. Readers expects to read something new from your blog from time to time. I advice you to create blogs with niches of your interests. You will find yourself never at lost for words when you write articles about stuffs you like and are good at.I have a blog but I do not have time to update it. If I can save enough for a laptop computer, I might be able to go into blogging again.

This is a great discussion, well i have 3 blogs, two blogspot and one wordpress. I started my first blog three years ago and at first it was really hard to update regularly especially choosing the best topic but later on i was motivated to do a regular update especially that i was earning already on my blog. This time i dont have hard time choosing for the topic coz it just comes naturally, just write anything u want and everything will follow, think of the things you do, your plans and anything that finds you interesting. It will be helpful.
