Do any of you have a hard time getting all the household chores done? How do you accomplish getting ANY of them done when there are so many to do? Shortcuts, hints or tips please.

Oh, I'm still young so I live with my parents. My parents hire 2 maids to do most or maybe all of the chores in the house. 1 maid sweeps, mops, cleans the bathroom, make the bed, etc and the other does the laundry, cook, etc. My dad works the whole day and my mom goes out a lot so they basically don't have time to do anything.. A few months ago my dad lost his old phone that he doesn't use.. It was quite costly.. About 20,000 Philippines pesos or $434.7 something dollars.. And we found her boyfriend with it.. She even stole the charger, WTF? So we fired her.. So now we have 1 maid that does all the chores because we can't find another one yet.. :( The maid that's still with us has been with us for about.. 9 years now. :D Good day and Happy MyLotting.

Getting maids here in the Philippines isn't that costly really.. We pay 'em about.. 216 dollars monthly.. It's enough for them to get by because they have free food here in our house and they have free water and free electricity and free room.. So they basically live with us. :D

Wish I could hire a maid, a gardner, a repairman... a cook, and all those.

it is hard to do all the things all alone and no ones help. usually i do two or tree chores at the same time. like cooking and washing the dishes, or sweeping the floor and watching TV. just remember that while doing those things we need to maintain our mood to stay happy. so u can enjoy all the works and get those done. happy working

I do ALL the chores and get no help from anyone, either. But then, I guess I should be glad I'm in good enough shape to be able to do them. It would be nice if other's would pick up after themselves, though.

I do this, too. I find it gives my arms and legs a break from all the sitting at the computer.
