American Greetings Corp. is coming out with a greeting card that would include a flavored strip in the card. They were showing a lil girl who described a strip, almost like Violet from the Remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory who ate that gum w/ all the flavors of a meal. It has me curious on the taste.... Would you buy a card like this?

I don't think that under the current way that cards are marketed that I would ever buy a card like this. If something like this was to ever be an option for me, it would have to be a card that was in a sealed package. The thought of buying something which someone else's tongue could have been on in the past is utterly disgusting to me. But, overall, I don't really think that I'd be interested in something like this anyway because I really prefer to make my cards myself instead of being at someone else's mercy.

I might - if the protective strip is still there. Otherwise

No, I wouldn't buy one of those. In fact, I don't buy any greeting card over $.50! I keep about 25-50 cards of all types available so I can send them when I have occasion but they are just plain cards, very simple. The flavored strip is interesting but I feel anything that takes away or distracts from the real message of the card is not only unnecessary but adds cost, which almost no one can afford these days. I'm just a minimalist. And a cheapskate!

I don't think I would buy it. I just can't see how licking a paper can be kept freee of germs.

3SnuggleBunnies no I do not think I would like that at all. I liked the
ones with music. But no I would not buy them as they will be super expensive any way and already we are a country of people eating way way
too much sugar and other odd things with no real nourishment ikn them at
all. I am sure people will be curious and some will buy just to see what the gum tastes like. But I do not think I want to spend my money that
way.

i don't if i would or not to tell the truth. i would probably look at it with a WTH look on my face and then i would probably just set it aside like a piece of wrapping paper lol but that's just me. but i guess if some one dared me to the i may try it depends on my mood i guess lol.
