How can you say the money is enough, too much or not enough? MAn sometimes lives beyond their mean, sometimes below it. so how can tell if money for you is enough or not?
For me money is not enough. It could have been if I did not have debts, but since I do have, money for me is not always enough. But as soon as I finish paying off this debts, I can definitely say that money will be enough for me when that time comes. I have learned self-discipline ever since I went into a financial mess, I have practiced to be more wise in making financial decisions.
How about you guys, is money enough or too mush in your lives?

Hi there!
My current financial status, I can say money is enough for me. I can pay all my monthly bills such as electric, water, rent and credit card. I do buy the necessary three times a day meal plus snacks if I want to. My pets also gets their own stock every week and their medicines. From time to time I can still buy stuffs for myself. At the end of the month only a few bucks are left just enough to keep as savings or maybe not even enough to be considered as savings. But still, I consider money enough for me because at least, I don't have debts and I do not worry about where to get money for my everyday living. And when dues comes along, I always have money to pay them.
Like you I once had messy financial problems, I would say, I have become really poor. But now I've learned to live a simple life. I buy what I can, and not buy what my pocket money can't; necessities first before anything else.
Ciao!

Wow, that's very nice to hear. I am glad you were able to make good out of a bad thing that happened to you in the past. I hope I can achieve what you have achieved by the end of the year. I am really close to paying off all of my debts. I am tired of being poor and always out of money.

Money is enough for me right now. I've been trough all stages throughout my life. There was a time until my 25th birthday were I guess we could say that money was too much. After I came here I guess money was enough for some time and then we went trough a 14 year period were it wasn't enough after hubby was laid off 3 times in a row. I think we are at a point where it is enough and I would love to keep it that way.
FOr some people money is never enough. For me however, money is enough when we can live comfortably without debts or worries that we can't pay all our bills. It's enough when we can have enough to buy the things that are necessary and some left over for those extras that can make life feel good. I don't remember ever dreaming about being rich, maybe because i was already more or less there and it's no different. I strive for interior richness and that yes is quite important to me.
That said, some luxuries do sound good don't they ? LOL

In my life, I was able to experience the times when money was not enough , money was enough, when money was over flowing, and when I had no money at all. Too bad I'm quite stuck with the situation wherein money is not enough. I hope to achieve your current financial status today.

Money is the thing you are lacking forever. Because no matter how much you own, there are still something you can't afford. And here in China, we must save for old age. If you can't save enough money, you can only rely on your children, if you have. But, because of one-child policy, one child should support two parents, that means one person's work should feed three persons, and this is only the condition of no children. So most Chinese are earning, saving, earning, saving...forever and never have enough money.

Whew. I knew about China's one-child policy but the retirement thing for the parents never came into my mind. No wonder most of the Chinese friends I have are very good and strict in handling their money. Thanks for sharing me that information.

For me it never seems to be enough, even though I am not a frivolous buyer, we always come up short at the end of the month. I need to find ways to bring more money in and I am doing really well about not overspending.

I get what your saying. Sometimes after all the budgeting and saving we do, we still end up broke or short in budget. Personal finance is really such a hard thing to do, but of course we should never stop improving our skills in that area.

Money, money, money.....
Why are you a topic....reality is we need money, unfortunately, we do not use it smartly.
If you ask me, I want money which is more than enough for me. I want to bless others and I can't do that if I myself has not much. Always goal more that what you need not because you will buy things just for bragging about it but because the extra money you have can bless others.
Do you have extra? Can you bless me? (lol, just kidding! :) )

I would also like to experience that someday. Be able to share my money to those in need. I have given a few bucks to beggars once in a while but I know that this is not enough. One day, when I'm done with my debt, I promise to contribute financial help to charities and to the needy.

money never been enough to me too. as far as financial status is concern, i am one that is far from being called satisfied with what i earn. i doesn't mean that i am not satisfied with my job and extra cash ventures, it just happen that all that i got from them never satisfy my need for this such amount. in a family of 6 kids, i can only say that i have enough if i will earn 6 digits.

I never think money can be enough or too much but money will always be short because there comes a lot of things you need to do and purchase due to our needs.
There are always things coming up even when you have enough money then there is also more needs.
Happy Mylotting

For most people we do not learn discipline until we are caught up in a mess. Sad to say we learn the lesson only after we have failed. Back when I was a student I was a big spender. Allowance came by easy as my parents provided me all that I need. I bought thing that were not needed just because I like it. I did all the impulse buying. When I worked and I had no more financial support from mum and dad that I learned how to scrimp and live within my means because money was not enough. I learned the hard way. Now I sometimes still impulse buy but not as often as i did before. I learned to prioritize need first rather than wants.

I am really trying my best to restrict myself from impulse buying and other unnecessary expenses. Slowly, I am achieving that self-discipline. I know all my hardwork and sacrifices will pay off someday.

In fact money is much or not for everyone, which depend on how you can spend them, if you buy house or car or love high quality life you need much money to enjoy. If you just wanna have commone life you donot need too much money to spend. Of course everyone love a lot of money to enjoy life and do what they want to do by spendign money. But earning enough money is hard thing, you need have good relationin for your business or have good job to earn a lot.In the world God is fair to everyone, so we should be work hard to make us enjoying life.

For me, money is just enough if we have no debts, we have a decent living, we have all our basic needs, once in a while we could go out with the family. Money is just enough if we don't have to ask for financial assistance from other people. You have too much money if you were able to invest on many properties and businesses, and also if you are able to constantly give to charity institutions.

I don't think there will ever be a time to say we have too much money. In this economy, it just doesn't seem a reality. No money at all happens much to often to us. We can say we have enough money, but how much is really enough?

Money does not seem to last as long as it used to these days. There are bills to pay, and the cost of food and other important things has gone up so much, that we don't often get much change back in return.
For me I never have enough money, if I had no bills to pay or debts to pay off then I would be so much happier with the money I get, but since bills are always going to be there then not much will change. It would be nice to have some money to keep in savings, you know to fall back on, or to use on rainy day perhaps, but I don't have enough to put by for that.
I don't need much money, I don't need to be rich, I would just like to be comfortable.

No, there is always room for more! So far, it has been like this during my whole life, not that I am complaining, because I still have more than most, but anyway...

I don't know it either when would my money will be enough or too much, is it having savings means you have enough money does it really mean enough or not that much? I was confused by this idea too. Back then I don't have a regular job but I have money enough to sustain my daily needs but now I have a better and regular paying job and I can save a little for my future needs, but sometimes unexpected things happen that I need to used my savings and even have a debt to someone at first I thought I had enough for my self but at the end i learned that the more money you earn the bigger your responsibilities and expenses you will have so for me money will never be enough unless you are Bill Gates or Oprah.
