I can't get my chicken to come out the way i want it..Either i'm cooking with my grease up too high or just not cooking my chicken long enough.

You can stick a knife on the chicken's meat so that the cooking oil can cook the inside of the chicken .You could also deep fry it in medium heat so that the skin won't get burn.

After it browns good i put a lid on my skillet & let the chicken cook till it's done. Fried chicken can't be beat.

Hi, wgraham116. I think that you should put just enough of grease into the frying pan and fry on medium heat. Don't fry it on high too much. Let the chicken take its time to fry. Don't let the frying pan get overheated.

What I do is use medium heat and not leave it on one side. You have to turn the chicken unless it's deep frying where the chicken doesn't touch the pan.

Marinate your chicken overnight to give a tender meat and when your ready to fry them lightly boil the chicken so the meat inside will be lightly cooked and you'll have a low chance of over-frying your fried chicken. deep-fry is much fun :P

My husband always asked me to fry chicken with the same outcome with what they have in fried chicken stores and I have discovered that it has something to do with the deepness of the oil that you're cooking it with. The deeper the oil is, the better it is. I can make fried chicken the way I want it, crispy and cooked in the inside. You just need to turn the chicken to the other side every time even if you are deep frying it.
