This film is so great... It's a story about a dog who is very faithful to his master... I'd watched it last night and it really touches my heart to see that the dog is still waiting for his master without knowing that his master was dead already. Hayzzzz. hope that i could have a dog like hachiko... This really shows that dogs are really mans best friends.

Yup I watched Hachiko and it really tugged at my heartstrings. This reminds us how loyal dogs are to their masters. That is why dogs are called man's bestfriend because of their ability to form a lifelong bond with their masters. I hope those who are cruel to dogs could watch this movie to enlighten them that dogs have feelings too and dogs do care about their master.

This was a heartbreaking movie I have ever watched. I could not imagine, that dog like Hachiko, have the same kind of emotion like human. The care and love was there, sense of longingness. Infact, Hachiko's attachment to his friend (played by Richard Gere), is more than what human being suppose to show to fellow human being. The movie really touched everybody's heart. Perfect 10!

No, I have not, but I want to. A really good poet friend of mine recommended it. The only real issue is whether I'm going to go in the theater or wait for the DVD. I haven't been to the theater in a while and my finances are looking up, so I might treat myself.

I loved Hachiko Monogatari! It says a lot about loyality and unconditional love. I don't think there is someone who saw this movie and didn't shed a tear. It is so emotional! I have not seen many japonese movies until now, but I really liked this one. The story is not fiction, the movie was made after a true story. Did you know that Hachi has a bronze statue in Tokyo?
