The pursuit of happiness

I always ask myself what does happiness really mean? It has been tried to be given a definition, yet words could not answer that question. People tend to put all their time to pursue happiness. To know the real deal, the real score. Sad to say many times I also tried to pursue this enigmatic noun by getting the material things I wanted. Yet after I have it, it's just like a candle that has been burnt out. So I continue to seek again.
As time went by, I realize I've been smiling a lot, and in a happy state of mind when I am with the people whom I care, like my friends and family. When I am able to fulfill a task that I have been procrastinating for some time. When I go to mass and talk to God intimately. When I am able to forgive someone and not having anything to grudge on. When I can make someone else, rather than myself, smile.
These things, are not things. They are people, places, relationships. I realize that these moments make me happy. Gives me a reason to smile. And I have but many thanks still to say to show how thankful I am for these little things. :)

Personally, I like to look at the glass half full rather than it being half empty. :)
I'm glad I have some positive side of myself. If it wasn't for it, I wouldn't have been able to see the brighter side of life and appreciate the little things :)

Asking for happiness is always what people think of. It depends who you are. As to me, I'm ignorance to peolple around me. I hate to contact with the others. When there's strangers, my heartbeat increases and my face blush. I'm such kind of person. I procrastinate. I don't talk to God. I don't like forgive others especially myself. It's very nice to have been shared with your experience. I think it's a valuable reference to me.
I wish I could eventually find my reason to smile.
Happy mylotting!

i believe true happiness comes within yourself to a certain point. Having a good relationship, having a great job, having loved ones around you that actually care n support you. many things can make you truly happy it all depends on how you see things in your life
