what is the proof that God exist?

Well I surely believe that God exists and his existence should never be questioned. And who says there is no proof? This Universe is the biggest proof of the existence of God. Well I just want to share a story in Islam for the existence of God. The Story of a Scholar and an Atheist *********************************************************************************** There is one story of a Scholar and an Atheist. Long ago an Atheist did not believe the existence of God. He asked a scholar for a debate about the existence of God. Among the questions are: “Does God exist?” and “If God exists then where is God?” Then they decided when and where the debate takes place. The Atheist and the villagers were waiting for the scholar, but the scholar did not come right on time. When the Atheist and the villagers thought that the scholar will not come for the debate, then the scholar showed up. “I am sorry to keep you waiting for so long. But the rain is so heavy so the river floods. The bridge drifted away so I could not cross it. Thank God suddenly there was a big tree fell down. Then the branches cut out by themselves so the trunk was branchless. After that the trunk was cut and a hole was created so it became a boat. So I used the boat and crossed the river,” said the scholar. The Atheist and the villagers were laughing. The Atheist said to the villagers, “This scholar is mad. How can a tree became a boat by itself with no one made it? How can a boat exist with no maker who made it? The villagers were laughing out loud. After the people calmed down, the scholar said, “If you believe that the boat could not exist without its maker, then how could you believe the earth, sky, and its contents exist without its creator? Which is the most difficult to make? Making a boat or creating the earth, sky, and its contents?Hearing that, they realized that they were trapped with their own statement. “Then answer my second question,” said the Atheist. “If God exists, why can’t He be seen? Where is God?” The Atheist thought since he cannot see God then God does not exist.The scholar slapped the Atheist’s cheek hardly so the Atheist felt so much pain. “Why did you slap me? It’s very painful” The scholar asked, “There is no pain. I cannot see pain. Where is pain?” “The pain is here,” the Atheist pointed his cheek. “No, I cannot see pain. Do you see the pain?” asked the scholar to the villagers. The villagers said, “No!” “So, though we cannot see the pain does not mean that the pain does not exist. So is the God. Just because we cannot see the God does not mean that God does not exist. Though we cannot see Him, but we can see His creations.” Said the scholar. *********************************************************************************** The argument of the scholar is very simple. Yet, the argument that God does not exist just because human’s sense could not sense the existence of God is very wrong. How many things are there which couldn't be seen by us exists like wind, electricity(not wires), waves(electomagnetic,radio). All these things exist but human sense is limited to feel their existence. It is hard to proof that God exists But if we take a look to the planes, cars, TVs, etc, it would be irrational if we say that all exist by themselves. There must be people who make them! If the simple thing such as the match has its makers, then the universe that is far more complex than that must be has its creator. I hope people will now stop asking for proof of God's existence. Think of our body as a machine. Each and every part is related well and they function properly. Likewise, this whole Universe is still big machine and we are all related and cope up with each other. If there is a machine, then there should be a creator. We call that force or somebody as GOD. That's all. Have you heard about this saying, " God is in details"?. See the surrounding environment. How beautiful they are full of colors and designs! Can you think that these are just evolution? Can't you imagine a big hand behind this creation?

I strong believe in God. Everytime I see the beautiful nature around me - the trees, oceans, animals, mountains, etc - that is a big proof already for me that God really exist, and that science would take indefinite years to create or impossible to create.

Me too, I strongly believe in GOD's existence, and I do believe also that if the individual is truly believe in GOD, he/she may not ask for a proof for HIS existence because for me, we don't really have to ask for another proof, at the time that we were born..HE already prove that HE is existing. ;p Anyway, Thanks for this discussion. i think it is just a matter of belief and trust....i believe in god but it is not like that i pray or worship for hours or so...but i do believe in god it is like that you cannot see air but it exists and we can feel it ....just like that i feel god exist...

of course i am!. because of god.. nothing is impossible to me . he's my one and only true best friend .

God is not exist,it is a person imaginary.It is a beleif in people's mind.Do we need to provide the proof that god really exist?I think the answer is no.If you beleive the god,it is exist.If you don't beleive the god,it is not exist.

Recorded in history, that's it! One of the proofs is the consistency of what He said in the holy book, like: - the split of the moon to half - the preservation of pharaoh's remains - nobody can tell when doomsday will take time - What He said kept preserved til the end of time, nobody has ever been able to manipulate His words!

Have we ever wondered why the planets in our solar system don't collide? Have we ever stopped to think why we have gravity to keep us on the ground? Or why is our distance from the sun just enough to support life on earth? And did we even wonder how another life is created in a mother's womb? All these are natural miracles that prove the existence of God --- One Divine Being that takes care of earth's rhythm. And no, we are not allowed to see Him because if we are, then millions and millions of people will all be in line trying to ask a favor from Him. Imagine, what a sight that would be. No we can not see Him but we can pray to Him. And through this, we can show our faith at the same time.

Do you see electricity????? No . But you know that it exists. The fact that you are here on mylot posting your discussions, the fact that you are alive is the proof that GOD exists. There are some things that you cannot question.

i think god exists bcs there is need to be a first creature in the world and who put her in it? i think it exists bcs of it. we just dont appear for no reason must be a person that made us exist. who put dinosaurs on earth?

We know little about the truth of life.No proof doesnot mean no exsitence.What I can do is just to experience inside my spirituality in person.Thus I can feel the true logos in my heart.It is the proof of existence for God or something like that.Religion is a way of practice.It isnot just a blief for blief.If we believe something without practice and self sense,that means very little and far away from the religion significance.

take a look around you.. everything you see if it wasnt for god it wouldnt be here. and all those time you come close to getting hurt or killed and pulled through yeap god. your family yep god.. all all of your friends yep god

Your existence...our existence is a big proof that GOd's exist.That's why they call it faith...believing in something which you have no tangible proof at all. There are I guess just some things that should be left unanswered.

Hello friend, nice to meet you. I don't really believe in God. The reasons are - 1. I have never seen them with my eye. 2. I have never get helped by them [though people say that god helps us!?] 3. G-O-D does not support or very opposite to science and I'm a science student. 4. No people in this unverse could show a single proof of the exisence of God. Happy mylotting!
