Do you pick up 1 cent on the ground?

Money's money, that's what I got to say about the situation. A lot of people foolishly throw away any coin that they have. Not just one cent coins, but five cents, ten cents, and even twenty five cents. I've even found a dollar or two. Its almost like smaller money amounts are something that many people think is beneath them. It is rather foolish really, it shows a lack of foresight on their parts. Regardless of that fact, that just means some money for me. And that is more than acceptable as far as I am concerned. I tend to always look for coins, as every little penny adds up over time. There are people who don't look at the bigger picture and are only concerned with the here and the now. The cents do add up, so it makes sense to pick them up. At least in my opinion.

I would pick the cent up, because here when you find some kind of coin on the street, it is bringing luck. This is what we believe in. I always smile when i see coins on the street, and when i find one, i put another down, so someone else can smile too. I don't feel shame, because i want this life to be easier for all of us. I don't like people who act as snobs - see how much money i got, i'm so rich, i can buy everything for myself and so on stupid things.

I do pick 1 cent up off the ground. Pennies add up to dollars. We work for cents on mylot so why not pick change up off the ground.

Hi llbo1981! I haven't found one cent yet, but I would probably pick it up. Luckily, I found $5 bill in the mall one time and I immediately picked it up...hehehe

I always pick up 1 cent off the ground if I see it, they all add up over time and that's a good thing because money is something we all need.

This is actually a very funny subject now that i have joined myLot, because i usually don't care about 1 cent i don't pick them off the ground not because it is a shame to me, just because i always thought that to bend over just for 1 cent is way too much work, but after i've joined myLot, i will allways pick cents off the floor because now i know how much it costs to get one cent, for one tiny little cent i have to comment constructively on someone's discussion or create my own discussion, so now everybody start picking those cents of the floor :)

as long its not on tails. it say it will bring you back luck. i did it once well vacumming my car and i step in some lip stick. and got it in my car.. yeah not if its on tail

In our country there's no more 1 cent, the smallest is 5 cent but nobody cares about it anymore. I pick it and put in my purse because sometimes in shopping mall, there are some change, so in that case I can give the change to the teller so she'll give me a bill.

in our country, its already hard to find a 1 cent coin.. its already a collectors item here.. but if I find a coin in the street I would pick it up and look for its owners.. if not I'll put it to good use..

Hello llbo! If I find a 1 cent coin in road I will put it in my pocket and will paste it in my collection copy. Nobody will think bad as it was just 1 cent. But far I know that cent is unavailble in my country, so it will be very nice to find a cent as it will increase my collection. Thank you!
