We can be in love after friendship but not vice versa. I think this is true as this is possible to go to the next stage after friendship to love. But not the vice versa. Yes after any breakoff or due to any other problem we could not live like friends only. What I learned in my life also. What about your experiences.

Based on what I've observed in my own life, I think that it is possible to go from being in love with a person to having a friendship with that individual. I don't really think that this is the norm, but I do believe that it is something that is possible to happen in this life. I know that my best friend used to date a guy and after they broke up they remained friends for a very, very long time. Their friendship only failed when they moved far apart from one another and he ended up breaking up with Erica's sister.

I totally agree with you.Take my experience for an example.Once I strived as much as i could to win the favor of one girl who is also one of my classmates. However,it ended in vain.I was really heartbroken and decided not to contact her anymore. She asked me why we couldn't be just friends.I said i don't know, and Ijust want to let it go."We can be in love after friendship but not vice verse"may be this is the best answer i ever found to her question.

Why not .. I've been in the situation several times and have proven it to be possible.. while your theory proves to be accurate in the first few weeks.. after reconciliation and forgiveness... friendship is still very possible..
