Food satiety is governed by a lot of things.. more commonly is the stretch reflex of the stomach.. when the lumen of the stomach is stretched, a certain discomfort is felt and you burp and say I had enough...
Secondly, the sugar levels reaches the bloodstream speedily through the mesenteries of the intestines and pumps in the glucose to your brain and you feel sleepy.. when you feel this sleepy sensation you stop eating..
thirdly, pure discipline.. when you see that you had taken just enough you stop eating..
which mechanism governs your food satiety?
are you the stomach stretcher? Brain tripper? or Disciplined eater?

i normally don't burp so the only way that i can know if i'm already full is if i can't force myself to put another spoonful in my mouth..and that's when i will stop eating..but i'm always making sure that i'm not wasting any small amount of food..because i was raised and disciplined to take only the food that i know i can finish..

Well usually I don't like to stretch my stomach as that just makes me hungry quicker and I want to eat more and more each time. I like to eat so that I feel 'satisfied'. I don't know how to measure it, I just know. EXCEPT for tonight when I was starving and hadn't eaten all day. Mum made tacos and there was good stuff like beans and avocado and sauce and I couldn't stop- I ate 5. I had a horrible stomach ache after and just felt like sleeping!

if i am full, then i feel it in my stomach. just like you know when a bag is full, i know because my stomach will become a little big and i feel a little heavy. This always happens whenever i go for weddings or parties etc so i eat a lot. but at home it is normal. i eat a little only at home. what about you???
