I know that a majority wants to live long enough to enjoy life.. but in senility or old age there are some faculties that gives us some limitations to enjoy life.. especially when we grow old to be dependent on our children.. and you develop a chronic disease that makes you a family liability.. maybe a debilitating illness that is painful.. or you develop depression from loneliness.. these are the things that you might experience and make you decide to end your life the soonest.
Given senility is the major issue.. for how long do you intend to live? what is the optimal age or lifespan for you?

With today's medic, I will say 60+ is a good choice. That's they time when our health start to deteriorate and all sorts of problems come up. We start to rely on medications to continue life and can't quite enjoy our lives as we used to be such as some food are strictly forbidden for health reasons.

There is no ideal age really, immortality would always be appealing, but not if you're going to stay old and fragile for most of it, so for me the quality of life and freedom would matter the most.

It all depends on the the living conditions. What i have noticed is that the average person in Asia lives upto 60-65 years, but a person in the europe will live upto a higher age. This also depends on the medical awareness in the country. I want to live for 100 years, if you ask me personally.
