Do you like travel alone or traveling with friends?

Well, before I rarely travel or make short trips. But, recently after the summer break, I discovered that I liked going to trips. Last summer, I went to beaches and had road trips with friends. I usually prefer also, to travel to foreign land which I still do love. But, having friends around you is really nice and fun.
How about you guys? Do you prefer to travel alone, with your parents, girlfriend only? Or would you like to travel with your friends + your girl?
Any thoughts and opinions, are highly advised.

Mostly I opt for traveling alone - because we have the freedom of enjoying the places we visit without any disturbing acts.Yes,if we have like minded friends that is Ok,but we rarely find that stuff - I tried but failed to acquire of my taste.
Any how short local trips can be enjoyed with friends.

I would like traveling with friends because I enjoy a lot chatting, laughing and eating together and I never feel sleepy. And also I feel very comfortable.Whereas when I travel alone,I feel very uncomfortable to face strangers.I feel very boring and sleepy too.

When I was younger I really loved to travel on my own. I once enjoyed going to the Netherlands with a friend on a trip. I went to the Seychelles with my ex-boyfriend. We also went on a trip to Turkey. These days I like to travel with my disabled toddler son and baby daughter. We have just come back from a trip to Canada. We visited Vancouver and Vancouver Island. It was lovely to see a friend there and a few of our relatives. I tend travel overseas most often and within my home country not at all that frequently.

When I was younger I often travelled alone and enjoyed my freedom and my independence. I was able to make my own plans and do what I wanted. When I was in my mid 20's I met my ex-boyfriend and we often travelled together. I also travelled with a friend sometimes and that was a lot of fun. Today I am married and my husband and I also travel together. Last summer we went to Latvia and Lithuania, and we had a great trip. In some months we are going to travel around in Europe together. We plan on visiting Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland and Germany.

That is nice. Traveling with your husband is nice. Spending time with him and enjoying life together is one thing I dream of as well with my girlfriend if ever we do get married. Best of luck on that trip you are planning and happy mylotting!

Hi, Jacob. I always wanted to travel with "close friends" but it didn't happened. After i graduated and started a business with the person i rarely talk (when we where in college) but it turned out to be my business partner and we often travel together. As if i do have a choice, right? It's business. I always dream of traveling with my girlfriend but as of now it's impossible. We have different priorities and agenda. Those places that i haven't been are still my dream to visit with my girlfriend... I wish i travel with her... not with business partner!

That pretty good to have plans to travel. Do not worry, I know in the near future you will find time to travel with your loved one. Hope it comes true too. Happy Mylotting!

Well, I honestly prefer either of the 3 options. I prefer to have company. Well, specially my parents, because I can just depend on them for expenses :)

I´m not of your age, so my needs and possibilities are different. I love to travel with company (if it´s someone that has my same interests) and I also like to travel alone. I love to travel so much that I work online all year to save my online earning for vacations. Traveling is not in my budget but I manage to get enough money to travel every year.
One thing I definitly don´t like are those guided tours. They are expensive and guides never seem to know what I ask. So I´d rather take buses, talk to everyday people and be guided by a map (and a study online before going away).
I´m posting a picture of one of the awesome places I´ve been. There I had to take a special bus as we had to cross a frontier. But the walks (a day´s tour with thousand of things to see) was done with the friend I was there.
Take care!

Well, that is actually a good idea. But, as of now I am currently saving up for a a gadget I want. I also plan to travel some more with friends and my girl. Hopefully with a little bit of help and savings I could go to places and take some wonderful landscape shots while I am at it. Thanks for your response! Happy Mylotting!
