I think for me it would probably be a house or at least a plot of land to build a house on, that way my partner and I could have the rooms we want, laid out the way we would want and could also possibly let the kids have some input into what the finished house would be like.

First I would pay off my car ($10,000), then pay off my debt (about $2,000), and I would put enough into a savings account for whenever I needed it. Then the rest I'd just spend wisely. I probably wouldn't work for a while either.

I would pay my attorneys fees to finish the adoption proceedings. My current husband is going to adopt my daughter. I would pay off our house and credit card debt. Pay my children’s college and put some aside for them in a trust. I will also donate $100,000 to be split by 10 families at my daughters church ($10,000 each). I think that if I were that blessed I would want to share the wealth and make a difference in other families lives. I know it would make a huge difference in our lives even if we received $10,000 towards our court fees and bills. My daughters school has a program for every year of missionary work they do they receive 2 years of college in one of the schools charter schools. I think it will open her eyes to see how blessed we already are. She looks forward to missionary work. Half of her friends have already gone to do missionary work. She's only 11 years old. How times have changed:) As far as self serving I would get my dental work finished, and a visit to a spa with my family.
