Will the reception problem on Iphone 4 stop you from buying or upgrading to it?

The iphone 4 is very tempting to buy because of the new screen, new front camera, and overall performance boost compared to 3GS. The hardware is designed for the OS, so upgrading it will run better on the Iphone 4.
However, there are receptions issues because they put in a new antenna that wraps around the phone. It should have helped, but when you hold it like a normal phone, it affects the new antenna so that you are essentially "blocking" it.
Do you think this is a big problem? Do you believe Apple can fix this with a software patch? Do you regret buying an Iphone now, or will you not buy one yet because of this problem? I'd rather skip Iphone 4 and wait until they fix the hardware, probably with the next release of Iphone, too.

I understand that there are many big fans of the Iphone and many would be curious about the Iphone 4 for sure. This reception problem can prove to be a slight headache for sure, but I think Apple will fix it soon. If my guess is right, this is only a temporary problem or glitch? Not too sure..
However, for me personally, I ain't going to buy any Iphone 4 anytime soon; it's not even launched yet in my country, I think. By the way, I've yet to read reviews and etc about this.. and I'm a fan of other model phones, so it's going to be a tough choice. Hehehe..
