I love cheese it's true, but I also love the cultures behind it. Here in the states cheese is eaten for any reason, on whatever dish thats made. And of course we have American cheese, after googleing it i found that it may have originated around 1790? And made it's self known when British colonist shared their (mega-super-tasty) cheddar cheese :-) So where are you from and whats your cheese? :-)

Hi, randy2611. I am from The United States Of America, USA. And in our country, we eat American Cheese. I also love mild, sharp and extra sharp cheeses, by Kraft. I can see that cheese has been out for a very long time. In the year of 179 that was a very long time ago. I know that they loved eating sliced cheeses of many kinds with fresh fruits.

I mean the year of 1790. I am sorry about the zero being missing.

Yeah I love sharp cheeses also like Colby and i'll add cheese to any thing like rice, pasta, and of course Mexican dishes. But heck i'll eat a slice or provolone just to snack ha ha ha. Hey and with the history behind American I guess technically it should be called American British cheddar cheese???

That would be a great name for cheese! I also love Pepperjack cheese too. It is very delicious and it is spicy. I also love Monterery cheese too.

Well I was originally born in Canada in a Italian household. So Mozzerella was and still is a big component in my life. I now live in the US and my new fav cheese is most definetly swiss. It just tastes so good! Cheese is just a great way to be happy with food. It makes everything taste better! In case you couldn't tell, I love cheese :D

Oh heck I love mozzarella too I will just chomp on a chunk, not a whole block but a snack size :-) ha ha ha I like paring it with Provolone and it melts great on hot saucy pasta. Pasta+Cheese=Smiles I haven't tried a grilled mozzarella cheese sandwich?? What kinds of wacky cheese parings have you come up with? ha ha ha
