Have you ever heard a song that made you go "What the hell...?" One of my mom's friends used to work in some kind of shop and they kept giving her free CDs so she would just pass them on to me. She gave me this one CD that was just incredibly strange. There was a guy playing the spoons and saying something like "You're my little potato."
Other than that, a lot of lyrics seem to make no sense these days. Like Fallout Boy's songs LOL. No offense to those who like FB, I personally love the songs even though I don't understand them.

I have no idea about the band that you mention. I stay in my own music bubble and never venture out.
Anyway as for songs not making much sense, of course I know what you mean but it doesn't stop me from listening if I like the sound.... My parents used to give me weird albums and I would always wonder what the heck it was all about.... I generally just put them in the bottom of a closet.

Haha! I know how it feels about Fall Out Boy. I dislike them with a passion actually. I cannot understand one word Stumpy is singing about. rofl. Anyways, yes. I like strange songs though. They make me smile and they allow me to put some consideration into what the actual lyrics are and what they actually mean. When I figure them out, I feel so accomplished!

I know! Sometimes I wonder if there IS a meaning. But those other times, it does feel pretty good.
I don't get Fallout boy, but I love listening to the music lol! The new Blue October song (Hate me) has some pretty bizarre things in the beginning, but at least it makes sense.

have you heard of the "last song symdrome, too"? it's when you hear a song and long after it has ended, it's still playing in your mind over and over again? this happens to me a lot of times and most of the songs are the kiddie songs my daughter plays on her portable player. gives me a headache, sometimes.

The first time I hear the Peanutbutter and Jelly song a year ago, I just looked at my cousin like she was crazy trying to figure out who the heck would write a song about PB&J. And the fact that they say it over and over, why?
But here a year later, I have heard it again, and I love it!!!!!
I moved to OK a year ago. Think that is a sign I am missing home?

Aw! That song is so irritating, and yet I listen to it. Over. And over. Same with the badger song. And who could forget ring ring ring ring ring ring bananaphone! x_x
There's this other crazy addictive thing. http://dojo.fi/~rancid/loituma__.swf The animation's from Bleach, I think, but it only lasts like a second in it.
