Examiner?

I've heard a lot about Examiner, a paid-to-write site, but I have a few questions about it. Can you write whatever you feel like? Is it open to anyone who can provide a good writing sample? Is there an age limit? I hope some friendly myLotter can answer my question... It sounds like something I might enjoy...

They like to see multiple samples of your writing and see your writing on other sites. To become an Examiner you apply in the city and state that you live and there will be open categories for you to write in. You can write out of the categories, but you do not get the $1 (up to 5 a week) for the article that you wrote not in your category. If you do not write any articles in your category they will probably say something to you. You may want to try Helium, AC, Triond or other sites first, that do not put you into a specific category and you can write whatever you want. Good luck with Examiner.

No wonder you like Examiner! I think you have a lot of things to write about your cave, and how you manage to lose your ways in the cave. Plus all the ants, and rats, and snakes in the cave. I think you can really make tons of money writing about these.

You again? LOL I didn't realize Examiner had such low word count until a couple of days ago. I could have been doing all kinds of writing. LOL They don't have a section for the most fried food weirdness. We could cook up everything that moves or put it in a pot for later. LOL

I have no experience with Examiner, your best bet would be to email them from their website.. =)
