Is he sincere with his words? Will he emulate his mother's legacy? For me, he was chosen by the people due to his parent's legacy and that they are not trapos (traditional politicians). It shows that they want to serve the country and want that we will be a democratic country wherein we could express our feelings towards the government with no fear of dying unlike the Marcos regime. I just hope that he will be able to alleviate the lives of the Filipino people and to eradicate poverty.

The inaugural speech of our newly elected President - President Noynoy Aquino was very sincere in the sense that he was able to acknowledge the legacy of his parents. He was able to gave tribute to the hardships of his mother and also to his father. It was clearly stated in his speech that he will continue fighting for democracy by forming a government who listens to the needs of the people and responds through services.
I am so happy that President Noynoy Aquino really wanted to have better life for the Filipinos. He is very eager to work on the the lapses of the past administrations by starting to be a good model to us - a good son, a supportive brother and a good citizen.
